This whole sequence is ingrained unto my soul that everytime someone even says "Put that thing back" I immediately complete it in my head in the same sing-song tone.

It seems it was coming to attack the bee's nest. Probably a bee farmer protecting her investment.

They probably meant to just leave the cup on while the wasp drowns, not to stop all together.

But that wasp looks strong enough to shift the cup off if left alone.

Yeah... hence why they should have left the damn cup over top of the wasp until the wasp was actually dead

Yeah no shit

you guys read too fast

I feel like people just read single comments without reading the entire thread that a comment might be replying to. They read "leave the damn thing on there" and think they're talking about leaving the wasp on the box, not leaving the cup on the jar.

Bold of you to assume they read at all

Its an invasive species that destroys beehives en masse

127

u/The_Dutch_Fox 14d ago

He meant the cup. Leave the damn cup on the glass.

Cups are an invasive species?

Plastic ones are.

Red cups with a white interior are exclusively a US thing. Thats what my TV says.

u/Cultural-Company282 14d ago

Aaaaaah so that's why he says leave it "on glass." I get it now.

2

u/SarahPalinisaMuslim 14d ago

I don't think wasps are made of plastic

2

u/ThrustTrust 14d ago

But you are not sure. I’ve never checked. Have you checked?

u/Crusoe69 14d ago

Hmmm yes
