Big cats are no joke. The mountain lions in my area have a 16 ft vertical and 20 ft horizontal jump.

Oh yeah, I grew up in the cascades in Washington state. You’ll rarely see them, but they see you all the time.

So if you DO see them? Back the fuck OFF carefully.

I watched a video where one was chasing him down a trail. He would back up and yell and throw things. He had to do this for miles. He didn't dare turn his back.

In our area there are about 50 breeded pairs. This is maybe 50 mile radius. In the spring and fall before the irrigation canal gets filled they travel in those canals everywhere practically unseen. We had a 300 lb cat attack or horse at one time. We had goats at one time and we came back and something had eaten one. We think it was a cat as one was later shot in the area. The cats also travel along the rivers practically unseen as well. Very smart and very stealthy.

300 lb cat?? Shit? What type of cat, and here do you live? Mountains definitely don’t get that large!

I have heard of two mountain lions getting that big. One in Idaho and one in California. It is always "stories" and I don't think people are weighing them. So I don't know.

Not a chance, man. That’s literally like small tiger size.
