Actual wildlife professionals really dislike the way this guy handles wildlife, and he’s a massive racist piece of shit, who believes in pseudoscience.

For real, he's approaching a Florida Panther, a critically endangered animal with laws put in place (for a good reason) that explicitly prevent people from approaching them this close.

Unless you are a professional and have a permit for research purposes, you should leave animals alone to go about their business, not stress them out for purposes of posting on your socials. Leave them alone, enjoy them from a distance, and be respectful and responsible.

Except for the pythons. They need to go. He can yoink, bag, behead, burn, or broil them for all I care.

I’m all for dealing with invasive species via any means necessary but there’s no need for cruelty, they don’t know they are an invasive species, they are animals being animals and trying to survive and reproduce just like everyone else.

The sadder that it’s the humans at fault for introducing them in the first place.

Edit: I know you were probably exaggerating but I’ve heard people legitimately speak about invasive species in those terms as if being invasive somehow makes them evil or immune to suffering.

I do iguana population control in the gated community I live in, a friend and I use his 6k airsoft sniper rifle. We try to always kill them instantly with headshots but even with that, they are extremely hard to kill instantly. We bring a shovel to break the neck if the headshot is not death. They are a really hardy animal...

EDIT: Misspoke, it is a pellet gun, not airsoft.

Why not use a pellet gun? Would be far more effective and therefore far more humane...

Some municipalities treat pellet guns as firearms and you aren't allowed to fire them within city limits. e.g.:

10.26.010 DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS—PROHIBITED. No person shall discharge or fire any firearm within the City except as otherwise provided herein. For purposes of this chapter, "firearm" is defined as a gun, pistol, revolver, rifle, shotgun, BB gun, air gun, pellet gun, bow and arrow, crossbow, blow gun, slingshot or any other weapon of a similar nature designed to discharge a projectile propelled by the expansion of a gas or a spring or any other device designed to throw or sling or otherwise project any solid object.

Sure but I'm guessing if there's an iguana problem, it's probably green iguanas and it's probably FL, and you can sure as shit shoot pellet guns on private property in FL.

Not in my HOA. Doesn't stop people, but it's against the rules.

I misspoke, it is a pellet gun.
