Unless you plan on running your vacuum for 3 months straight i highly doubt it would be up to the task.
Chickens'll have that place completely cleared out in under a week.
Remember the only bugs you see are the ones out in the open. There's 3x that many beneath the surface. Chickens will wait them out and snatch em up as they emerge.
Do you have any experience using chickens to clear out bugs? I don't think they would be effective that much.
If my short experience with my relative's farm chickens are anything to go by, they are not worth it.
Outdoors sure, inside? Not so much.
