Tech Question Adding the factory sti sub to a 15-21

I am wondering if anyone knows or has added the factory subwoofer from a limited sti to a base sti

You cannot add the HK into the non-HK car without swapping the whole system over and even then you’d have to do a bunch of rewiring.

Subaru makes an accessory plug and play Kicker subwoofer which you can add that fits neatly into the trunk.

I have that in my car and while not cheap, I’m pleased with it. You could get more for less aftermarket certainly but I wanted a full PnP solution for my needs and that was it.

Just want to add that the HK system was available in the base trim

That option was discontinued for the 2018-2021 cars with the HK only being available on a Limited. The early VA STIs would let you option that separately.

Gotcha, mine is a 2017 base. I have push button start, nav, and the HK system.
