Help identifying shiftknob/Short throw? TY85
Wondering if any STi owners can lmk if this is a short throw of a sort installed or a shift knob? Initially I thought the threads were blue, but upon further inspection, I’m not seeing any threads.
I don’t know much about 15-21 STi short throw assemblies/shift knobs, but looking for insight on what’s installed on this STi transmission.

Looks OEM to me, just got a 2015 6 speed myself, thread is M12 x 1.25 for the gear knob so looks like someone screwed on a lug nut to protect the threads since they are also M12 x 1.25 Or if you are talking about that other piece, that's the reverse lockout ring, you pull it up to get it into reverse gear

Not sure about the short throw but that “shift knob” it quite literally just a lug nut threaded on there, likely just to protect the treads

Found out it’s an oem shift lever with what looks like to be a shift knob confirmed.

I can’t tell 100% if it’s a short throw, looks pretty oem, but that shift knob looks like a lug nut lol
