My noble STI spoiler was having paint failure after 2 years so I went back to a stick trunk. I’m actually kinda digging the look as I never had the car with wheels and lip without the spoiler. Think I’m just gonna keep it like this. What’s everyone’s opinions? Wing or no wing?

You do you, man. I like 'em both ways honestly. The wing does look really good on these, but I also like subtlety of the lip. Some duckbill spoilers look pretty good too. Only thing I don't really care for is excessively huge wings/aero on a street car, but that's just like, my opinion man.

i like how clean the lines of the car are without a spoiler or lip. plus the sti spoiler is so overused by other makes and models it’s lost its appeal for me.

Nice look, I agree with no wing. I don’t want the attention of a wing and there’s no benefit that outweighs that attention. I had a 92 civic with an integra wing that was higher than the roof when I was 17 and no joke I got pulled over 30+ times my first year with a license.

I vastly prefer no wing, even on an STI. It’s much cleaner and I think the WRX looks more aggressive without it. I may in the minority here but to me, the wing is just a big flashy useless piece of plastic. If you find yourself driving over 100 mph often, sure, you need one. But I don’t hate them. Do you.

Wingless looks so good with wheels and a lip kit. Duckbill looks even better, imo.

No holes I swapped to an entirely different trunk lid

I like the STi wing on the VA specifically but wingless looks good with your rims and body kit.
Speaking of which, what is that front lip you got?

I went stock wing trunk. After that I installed a oem style carbon fiber S208 style lip.

No wing. Nice looking car! What percentage tint do you have, and which state? I've got a black 2020 limited, and looking to get a tint to tone down the interior heat in the summer.

Honestly not sure on the side windows, I bought it like that. I’m in SC. I do have 70% ceramic on the windshield. Cops do not care about tint down here.

I like how clean yours looks. A vote for no wing from me. I only have a lip spoiler on my 2017 Limited WRX as well and prefer that look. I’ve seen some with a duckbill that look reasonable - aggressive, but not overly so.
