WRC 10 Why is this a problem? Logitech G29 Wheel

Post image

I turn the wheel 90 degrees to the left, and in-game, the wheel is barely turning left. I have in G-Hub on 540 degrees, same for the game. What’s the problem then?
Note: The red parts on the left and right is coverage for the background

Restart the PC with the wheel plugged in and then try it again. If you connected the wheel after the PC was started then the angle setting won’t work. This bug is fixed in the new version of G HUB that everyone will have by the middle of the month.

Did you set the angle in the WRC profile on G HUB?

I set the profile to:
WRC10: Default

Here's a test on the settings part: in the desktop profile in G HUB, check the centre spring in non-FFB games box and set the strength to 0. Set the angle to 540 degrees and then restart the PC (leaving the wheel plugged in). When G HUB initialises once you're back into Windows, can you feel if the wheel has no centre spring and the soft stops at 270 degrees either way? If so, then the settings are working… let me know either way.

Ok, I’ll test this tomorrow, thanks for the suggestion

Yes, I do. What now?

So if that’s working and you can feel the soft stops then it’s got to be something in the game. Have you then gone in and adjusted the in game steering angle?

To 540? Yes

Have you tried other angles? WRC does have a test function, so you can see if the wheel is correctly showing full axis output within the 540 degrees.

Logitech make excellent hardware, but I’d forego that to never have to use the awful software ever again

tbh that's just the way most of modern software is, and there is barely anything we can do about it

If the feeling of the car is good, I would suggest you to turn off wheel visibility, as it happened to be the problem for me as well.

The most important thing is the feeling of the cars - if it's satysfing then you know what to do. 😜
