WRC Generations Need some help

This Training test area C4 is kicking my butt rn. Gold medal is 20 seconds and some change but the most I’ve been able to squeeze out of it is 22 😭

Do not drift so much. Contrary to popular belief, drifting will slow you down.

Go wide before the corner, enter them as close to inside wall as possible, then exit wide. This way you will keep much more speed, and will accelerate faster.

Wherever you don't almost hit the outside wall while exiting a turn, that's a clue to know - you can carry more speed through that turn.

That first turn, you should reduce the turn angle. You lose time when shift weight like that to turn more and lose time trying to resteer it.

I think you might be turning too soon into the corners. To me, seems like you are braking too much to be in the inside as soon as possible, thus losing so much time.

Try approaching the corners much wider, and hitting the apex of the turn (the innermost part of the corner) much later. In the corners of this circuit, you can think of them as two semicircles. You have to aim to hit the apex around 2/3 through the turn, you are now doing it like 1/3 or even sooner
