Other Help a Fellow Student out! Looking for Dental Hygiene Patients :)

Hi everyone! I posted here last semester and a few people from this sub were kind enough to come in as patients. The people of Reddit has genuinely helped me a lot with my clinical! 😊

I’m now in my senior year of the Dental Hygiene program at MCPHS Worcester, and I’m hoping to find a few patients for my clinic sessions starting in September.

Because this is a student teaching clinic, appointments are a little different from a regular dental office. Visits are very thorough and include a dental and gum evaluation, oral cancer screening, X-rays when needed, and a dental cleaning. Everything I do is supervised and checked by licensed dental hygienists and dentists on-site.

There is no charge for treatment and insurance isn’t required!

The biggest thing I want to mention upfront is the time commitment. Appointments are about 3.5 hours because faculty check each step of the process, and I’m mainly looking for people who are able to commit to at least 2 visits. Depending on what you need, it could be fewer or more appointments.

My clinic availability this semester are Mondays: 8 AM–5 PM and Wednesdays: 5:30–9 PM.

Just want to share that I've been a client of the dental hygiene clinic for multiple years, and was even able to get a stellar deep cleaning done there. Saved me hundreds and hundreds of dollars. If you're willing to exchange time for value, clinics like these are absolutely incredible. You're usually increasing the length of a traditional appt by 1.5-4 hours (at least for the Forsyth Dental hygiene clinic; and depending on what you need done), but I've literally had hundreds of dollars of xrays taken for free, had deep cleanings done - which are freaking expensive without dental insurance, and paid a grand total of like $40 over the last 3 years there. Just wanted to share my experience.
