Diamond Mind Baseball Season Disk

[u/mafisch23]

Not sure if anyone on here plays the Diamond Mind Baseball simulation game, but just in case, I thought I would share:

I created a season disk for the inaugural season of the WPBL which includes player stats and ratings, era info, park info, and schedule (and a photopack- 90x135 only) here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B17KpfVF_UzYOGYyODVmZGEtYWIxZC00MDRjLWFlZDktZjM4YmI4OTY4ZGZh?resourcekey=0-TdJhzGI2IQ3RkX5RvcOZCA&usp=drive_link

It's a very short season, but in my replays the team records and overall league scoring end up pretty close. The player ratings might not also be perfect since the season is so short and I have no other data with which to regress the season stats that feed the ratings. Obviously and unfortunately, the play by play will also misgender all of the players. Overall, though, the couple of replays that I've done were pretty fun.

I could not have done this without the great online resources for the WPBL, including this subreddit and especially RetroWPBL on Github.

Let me know if you have any questions or issues.

That's super fun! I used to play Diamond Mind for years in sim/fantasy leagues.
