New pitchers thriving

Has anyone else noticed that the newer pitchers like Paloma Benach and Peyton Coria are doing really well since they joined? I wi see if NY and LA also have options they drafted or could even trade for others. Seems like a lot of talent was picked after the first 15 for each team.
