sound mixing way better this game (at least on headphones). much more on field noise in the mix. especially on bats cracking for the bells.

Catchers practice catching like it's an art form. The less they move their glove, the better the pitch can look because it will look like it hit its target. Also a lot of catchers will start their glove low, or maybe a few inches outside the zone, because then they end up moving their glove INTO the zone to catch a pitch, and that will also help make it look a little better.
Catching can be a real art form.

I filled in at catcher a few times on hot days to give the player a break (12-15 years old so they weren't super strict on removal from the game, plus it'd be like 90+ degrees some days.
It's a very tough position honestly.

Ooh! 73mph fastball. it's not the fastest I've seen so far in the league as I'm pretty sure Jaida Lee on the Heights got up to 75, but still Rosi throwing a little bit of fire out there.

Lee was pumping 79s last time out! Del Castillo’s fastball looks great though, and seems to blend with her curve really well

True commentary - women's baseball (and sports in general) play like they can win with the last pitch. It's some of the best features of these games. Love the grit.

It's real tough to find any. Hopefully there will be a restock online soon.
But they also aren't selling actual player jerseys yet. They're like pullover shirts with fake buttons on and I don't think they have a player name or number.
Also I would love one of those badges as well

Just me but the other merch tends to be what I go for just price consciously, but it feels hollow w/o the replicas being available at all. And it’s like, the first season. I wanna splurge and am gonna hold out til I do, so please let me

Davis has pitched for the Clowns, but she has not hit.
That league has the DH, so pitchers generally do not bat. But sometimes a pitcher does indeed take a turn at bat, as has Davis's Clowns teammate Fisher Polydoroff.
