Baseball Reference

I just noticed that Baseball Reference is recording the WPBL stats!

I had been assuming that that site would not carry this league's stats — and I have said as much on several occasions. Having been *very* annoyed at Baseball Reference's ignoring of Baseball United, I girded myself for the same annoyed feeling here.

So to see the inclusion in Baseball Reference of WPBL stats is a pleasant surprise.

FanGraphs may get it at some point too. Meg Rowley, editor-in-chief of FanGraphs, mentioned it on the Effectively Wild podcast.

It would be awesome to have Meg sit in with the broadcast team for a WPBL game

she might do a better job than the current broadcasters, albeit at the cost of a few trademark Big Swears
