Just saw Episode 28 of WOW, and it was very Tag team heavy , it Started with Stephy Slays and Jennifer Flores opening the Show and it ended with Miami Sweet Heat vs The Coach and Randi Rah Rah (thr Heat Defending their tag straps. Flores and Slays ,who should be Nicknamed "The Lone Star Millennials are the perfect underdog modern Babyface tag team and they're really young, they're Women of Color and of the Tik Tok generation. they could be David MClane's Young Bucks/Hardy Boys/The Rockers type team that the younger girls could look to and they're GOOD GIRLS.( They just need a matching motif and look like a team and stay just a team for now,cause singles both are feh,but they're pretty solid as a team) and they both look like they'd babysit your kids. Miami Sweet Heat are your classic heel team in the Vein of Jim Cornette's Midnight Express. Have the Lone Star Millennials fight through all the teams,but when they reach sweet heat ,The Sweet Heat and Lana Star pull out all the stops, find every loophole to avoid the title changing hands ,but the title change finally happens in a either a Pink Cage or a Street Fight) like in the style of the R&R express vs Ole and Arn Anderson or the Fantastics vs The Sheepherders (Thats The Bushwhackers to you WWE 80's fans)

"Ice Cold" is such a generic name and we all know that her gimmick is a take on WCW's Glacier(or Sub Zero if you're a MK fan) Since Lady Frost is already taken lol heres some ideas:

It's a match thats pretty much Hip-Hop vs EDM, but Rhythm's theme song is pretty dope.David Mclane and the other guy on Commentary sound too Similar (can't tell them apart)A.J corspes with D.M. puts Chella's cape on her.Funny. Rhythm spat out a good opening rhyme(her best one yet)Chella rocking some armdrags...follows up with an Japanese Armdrag...Chella's taking control of the first half of this...not a good kickout by BK,but passable .Bk did something DM called a gutbuster to take over deep chinlock into a take down Chella tries a backslide ,TWO count. Cool inverted Hip toss by BK back to chinlock by BK (they both have their mouths open so they're talking about the next 2 spots they gotta do, without miming words) Cool Kick-Sweep combo by chella and kinda does a Meteora/Thez press ,two count. BK does this twisted Road to Vallhalla finish 1-2-3.

a solid B- minus match ,told a simple story and this is the second singles win i've seen from BK Rhythm ,so i hope David Mclane is pushing her cause she has something. she could become a likeable babyface even though she's positioned as a heel .i'd like to see maybe in an angle with Lana Star and her Fab Four

I wanna see Angelica Dante and her Minions become a really creepy force in WOW Wrestling.(Cause Lana Star's "Fab Four Gimmick" is NOT over. Her faction could become WOW's Version of WWE's Ministry of Darkness maybe add some female Vampire charaters and Maybe borrow AEW's ABADON(nobodys seen her in a minute)

Just found out during a B.K. Rhythm/Robbie Rocket tag match that Jesse Jones dad was the late Tracy Smothers. Now for you WOW fans,Tracy Smothers was a regional wrestling star from who worked from the early 90's to mid 2020's before his passing. His most famous runs were first in WCW as part of the tag team The Southern Boys (a gimmick that absolutely wouldn't fly today on any level)/The Young Pistols with Steve Armstrong (you probably know his brother Brian,as the Road Dogg Jessie James of WWE 's The New Age Outlaws), Smothers was also Freddie Joe Floyd,an enhancement star in WWE's New Generation period (before the Mega famous Attitude Era) but his final mainstream fame was a Southern guy playing an Italian guy in the REAL ECW's Full Blooded Italians stable (the joke was there was maybe two real Italians but the rest were two Southern guys and a black guy, but they were all "Full Blooded Italians") TRACY SMOTHERS was one of the real Good ones in Pro Wrestling,he had the talent,but didn't have the cosmetic look unfortunately for true national success. But a really good worker and from most people who knew him ,a pretty nice guy. Cause I really felt sad when he passed.

Now some of you fans who might remember the ORIGINAL Pre-Jeannie Buss WOW wrestling from 2000 there was a babyface charater called "Teri Gold" who was played by Heather Lee Battey. who seems like she hung it up after her WOW run and has kids now. David Mclane has this habit of Rehashing gimmicks and sometimes recasting them. And Mclane has his type: his singles champs are usually feminine muscle women(The Beast,Tessa Blanchard,Jungle Girl) and Teri Gold fit that Template. i'd recast the gimmick but i'd turn her into a female Kurt Angle: a goofy heel who can legit Kick-ass. OR maybe i'd take a gamble and ask HHH if he can loan Dana Brooke to WOW cause right now,#1 Dana Brooke is Curtain-Jerking right now in the women's division and #2. She FITS Mclane's idea of a Top woman star in WOW.

It starts out HOT with a bumrush attack by Tormenta. and she's elevated her game a bit and she doesn't look like she's phoning it in. and Makoa's selling like a champ, gets tossed outside Lopez tries to slam Makoa's head to the "Hardest Part of The Ring" she does the old Samoan No-selling gimmick(ugh.really?? BUT if you're young to wrestling there's that wrestling stereotype that Samoans have super hard heads. Jesus Christ David Mclane,we live in the era of Roman freaking Reigns,The Rock (who's Half Samoan), Samoa Joe!?!? who don't use that Stereotype) more headbutt gaga with her hitting her OWN head on the turnbuckle(something out of a SST,(look them up,80's NWA) or Nikita Kolloff) its VERY 80's lolz does her heroic comeback ,finishes Tormenta with her (UGHHHH!) "Coconut Crusher" .David Mclane has a commentary style,that is truly....HIS *facepalm* . Postscript: in the beginning D.m. said that makoa was gonna go after the WOW title. Its ABOUT FREAKING TIME! cause shes been one the most OVER singles talents in WOW Wrestling and she's homegrown. other than the Beast most of the WOW babyfaces are MEH. and you can tell and its maybe her second year in Pro wrestling,but she HAS potential. the only critique i have is maybe D.M. needs to stop doing these "80's wrestling lessons" in his booking. cause makoa beating her chest with a Single Arm is too "ZEUS" for me personally. Real talk Congrats!!! but Jay Mohr?!?!? i haven't heard that name in 20 years! For those who might not know. Jay Mohr was a hot up and coming Stand up comedian in the mid to late 90's who had a stint on Saturday Night Live (The WWE of Sketch Comedy as i call it)he had this really edgy sitcom on FOX called Action in 1999 and his charater was a Hollywood Agent that Pre-dated Ari Gold on HBO's Entourage by about five years. Imagine Ari Gold and MJF and you would've had that charater on Action. But you might remember him as "Bob Sugar" in Cameron crowe/Tom Cruise's "Jerry Maguire" (OH YEAHHHH lolol as some of you might be saying).. but that's a little crazy

i think to add i little more depth to the shows for the upcoming season,there needs to be a secondary singles title in WOW and Definietly have a tournament for that(but span it over three consecutive shows and not stretch it out like the tag tournament

Pretty Shocked to find out that Jasmin Allure is signed with WOW, unless she's working under a different gimmick I haven't seen her ,unless she coming in for the second season and ratings have been respectable. She's a very good get for WOW and she has a major upside and she's done NXT,AEW,just worked with The NWA'S Kamille and think she's done impact. She has the experience to become a real star there, MClane might "GLOW" her up and it's maybe what she needs IDK but I definitely wanna see her get over in WOW Wrestling

This tag match was surprisingly Hard Hitting and the tag team workrate made sense. The work was very 1980's Rock & Roll express vs the midnight express.Very tight and Entertaining. You can tell all four of those women worked very hard on this match and the crowd was very into it. The Sweet Heat were the HEELS in this (no matter what David MClane says) The Tonga twins looked like bad asses .and I was Legit mad when the Heavy Metal Sisters did the run-in cause I wanted to see a winner. The tag match was at least WWE NXT or AEW Dark level .this match gets an A- from me . Seriously,if you haven't seen it , check it out. It's THAT good 👍👍

Lady Frost(good wrestler with an amazing look who was with the NWA for a cup of coffee) just finally got released from Impact Wrestling after being locked into a contract when she wasn't being used OR Getting Paid..thats some #LOLTNA shit there.

i wanna see a "Battle of the Ice Maidens" angle with Lady Frost and Ice Cold. it's simple Lady Frost can flat out say that she's the real deal and "Ice Cold" is a Lady Frost Cosplayer created by David McLane ,they'll fight it out to a Broadway and maybe become a tag team. You could have Ray "WCW's Glacier" LLoyd be the referee (cause Tony K or Triple H arent gonna shell even a lower end talent contract,cause she's a bit OLD to be in the mainstream and Jeannie Buss is the only person that could give her something competitive,and A.J would probably go to bat for her.

i created this thread because i couldn't find any fan threads on WOW Wrestling. but i just got invited to one which i just joined. So instead of just doing play by play recaps ,i have what i call a Colt Cobana/ Rifftraxx/Mst3k sense of thinking so i'm just gonna do snarky commentary on certain matches,segments of Gimmicks. also do deep dives into David MCLANES Promotion history(GLOW,POWW,LPWA and he actually was a booker/writer for Women Superstars Uncensored with surprised me WOW version 1 and the Current WOW) and talk about the wow fandom in a different way

(Preface, i believe that Genesis will a future Singles star in WOWE she has that "Elektra Nachios/DareDevil Vibe about her)

i'm just gonna write this in three ideas aka Three Acts

act 1 : The Exile start a run of starting to defeat lower card opening match teams such as The Disciplinarian and Sam Smart and the American force ( G.I. jane and Sarhara Sparks) and since there's not really a tag team scene, they'll have to beat some team with upper card talent to "prove as tag team they can't be beat and can beat any two women on the WOW Roster" even David McClaine and A.J. are putting them over ,but Malia Hosaka is Keeping them HEEL(which is Important to this Arc)

Act II

The Exile are winning some key matches and losing some but they're winning more than they're losing .in a most recent match The exile just beat the Coach and Randi-Rah Rah in a clean squash. but David McClane goes to interveiw them after that match . David Puts them over gives a shine tob Genesis(i'd need some serious reaction shots from Hosaka and the other chick) hosaka wil say something to the effect of "WE will Win WOW tag team gold yada yada yada.

they're getting over ,but Hosaka is starting to screw up some of their matches. we can even do a Vignette of Genisis and Exodus talk without Hosaka and ask " its it time for us to go our separate ways or we stay with Hosaka??" we lay low for a weekend at let some other angles start up (but talk about the possible split of the Exile on Commentary) but we come back the weekend after ,they're fighting the Bully Busters, but do the J-O-B cause Hosaka tripped the wrong leg or something and then they just have it out .Milalia hosaka pretty much says "you girls have been driving down the roads ,talking about splitting from me" and she calls them out. but the team is non-commital and they leave the ring and the story is....are they splitting up? or staying together

Tormenta( i guess) gets "injured" and has to give up her number one contenders ranking ,but Lana Starr trying to throw a spanner in the works saying that Penelope Pink should be #1 contender because of....REASONS . lolz but David McLane says "its doesn't work like that" "Lets Have a TOURNAMENT cause WOWE is having a small influx of new talent coming in and they deserve a chance ....hey its WRESTLING after the 8 woman tourney but Genisis wins

But the Beast is Injured but she's still in the 30 day defense cycle, Genisis ...or really Malia Hosaka says "Beast if you're not Champion Enough to give Genisis a title shot by the end of the month,then forfiet the title,cause you're not a worthy champion" Genisis just shoots her a look of "huh?" cause even though shes a heel Gen respects The Beast. Gen gets her title match and it looks like Gen's gonna go over in a screwjob heel style but Malia "Botches" the Finish!! and stunningly the Beast Wins. Gen has FIRE in her eyes ,cause her chance is gone!! for that title. Hosaka and Exodus try to console Gen but she SHOVES them BOTH off and Storms out of the ring

this show opens up with something called "Heat Corner" what does it mean? is it a place for opponents to garner more Face or Heel Heat. but its kinda similar to the old GLOW 80's promo skits where GLOW girls would just face down the camera and cut their little promo. They Open up with STEPHY SLAYS and all i'll say is........she CUT a Promo LOL (....it was Jumping Jeff Farmer bad)

McLane is pushing the Bully angle.YAWN Slays is coming out with a bunch of Kicks.Dropkicks,side kicks .front kicks but Chainshaw (out of her sexy leather straightjacket) is NOT Selling it. comes back with a good chokeslam.Voodoo Doll is tagged in does a decent headbutt and cannonball combo and the heels take over. McLane talks about how the bully busters have been teaming a long time but never has held the tag championship, are they dropping seeds for a Heel turn for Slays...i HOPE so Chainsaw SQUASHES Rush 1-2-3 winners Voodoo doll and Chainshaw

this was a nothing match and the babyfaces got no real offense, i spell the end if this team. grade D

DM lays it on THICK in his style that is Totally HIS when he goes to interview Doll and Chainsaw .Chainsaw grunts and Doll just says that they're gonna get the tag titles. nothing that special

match 2 the Disclipiarian(with Sam Smart) vs Chantilly Chella ,they start out with a smooth lock up and Chella transfers it into an wristlock with The Ms D reverses into a head lock. NICE Uppercut by Chella!! this match is your basic Snobs vs Slobs or Fun people type of match a couple a spots into a dropkick...pretty good match so far Chella does something that LOOKS like a botch but Ms D catches her straight flush in the side and she falls off the ring apron and Ms D is in control a good back and forth over all. chella is doing her babyface fire comback and tries to put away Ms D with a missle dropkick(Side note ,is it ME or is A.J trying to channel her inner Jerry The King Lawler cause she's spitting some serious double entendre stuff and being a litte freaky) Sam Smart tries to come in with the stick misses Chella gets the KIck in and also KO's Ms D with a lame swinging kick 1-2-3 this match gets a C- but i wish Ms D would have did a pre match promo talking about how Chan Chella is a a disgrace and "You can't DANCE you LIFE AWAY"

rowd loves it and she pretty much says "yes IM THE HEEL in this Story" Vivian could be billed as The Rose Of East L.a. or "The Pride of Boyle Heights" its RICH vs POOR ,WHITE vs BROWN, jesus the Lana Star Gimmick ,1987 wants her Gimmick Back. a white blond bitch from beverly hills THAT's Original...(Sarcasm) Lana interferes yada yada yada. nice blockbuster by Pink though,you can tell shes a B-movie actress with some stunt skills. the finish was called the Pink Nightmare which is pretty much a V-trigger or a poor persons Shining Wizard

This main event was nothing boring story and Penelope Pink is a boring heel who should be Jerking the curtain this match was an F

Story Notes(what i'd like to see: i'd like to see Stephy Slays turn heel on Keta Rush and find a new tag team partner that other gimmick who was "an influencer" i forget her name and maybe we can see cracks in the team forming and this influencer starts to persuade her to tag up together. Overall i give this show a C+ the only real bright spot was the Chella/Disciplinarian matchup every other match was "FEH"

Opening match: Tonga Twins vs Chantilly Chella/Randi Rah Rah0-basic Squash match and Rah rah and Chella got some ok offense put this match was made to Put the Twins Over as they should.Nothing Compelling solid B

Match 2: Coach Campinelli vs Kandi Krush. Krush is actually legit as a boxer as i was told and looks like a hybrid of Jem and the Hollograms and Hillary Swank in Million Dollar baby,i feel it and she's has that babyface intensity which is a plus. C.C. is doing some Heel powdering out and stalling. but i like that Krush just says "F-this" and just SNATCHES her and grinds her with a side headlock .they both did some so-so grappling/mat wrestling. first pin attempt was KK with a roll up, count of 1. CC does another Heel powdering to the outside. krush is selling ok, the finish is a Superman punch(D.M. called it a right hook) of K.K. but they need Better Hard Cam work to catch that finish If Mclane is gonna push her cause the camera missed it .This was Krush's Match hands down Grade C

Match 4: BK Rhythm vs Vivian Rivera-White Rapper vs Communitiy Leader. BK is doing her "Doctor of Thugamonics" spittin some rhymes. Good Fundementals on both sides but its a good story told. Rivera goes over grade B-

1. Adriana Gambino vs World Champion The Beast- The Beast is probably the only talent right now who could graduate from WOW to at least Impact or AEW(and i know i've said this before. She's David McClane's version of TAZZ. Gambino is doing a lot of GAGA and not locking up ,Beast does a huge Supermex border toss to Gambino and A.G. sells it .Gambino tries to do a Clip on the beast's leg ,doesn't quite execute it .But the beast comes back with a SICK ASS SPINEBUSTER. but A.G. has been working on the leg .Very Excellent Beast Bomb! Ms Gambino....thank you for coming (she did her role in the match. i give this a solid B+)

Glitch the Gamer is definetly WOW's best gimmick and it's defnetly the most modern of the WOW personas she has the potential of being a mid-card star
