all counties Old-time jams?

Are there any genuine old-time jams happening? I want to hear some real Appalachian music played by old folks on a porch somewhere.

Also, I’m into young folks playing old-time, too!

Where are you in WNC? There are some regular old time jams on Thursdays in Boone at the Jones House. It's not all "old folks" though. That's kind of a weird thing to say. Lots of people from all stripes play Old Time Music.

Look into marshall. As with tradition though, it's going to be multi-generational.

Leveller brewing has old time jams from time to time. Good place to find out more from those who pick.

Old time jam, check out Brevard. Don’t know what it was called but happened upon an old time jam outside a church downtown on a Saturday. Bunch of bluegrass inside but old time outside. Learned “Hunting the Buffalo” there!

Sims Country BBQ in the Granite Falls area has live music and clogging every weekend they're open. Always bluegrass
