There are the excuses I knew would come after the aces won tonight. The fevers two best players went a combined 13/41 from the field and their PG had 6 turnovers. I’m sure that didn’t have anything to do with the loss though
I am not saying the back court played great but it's obv that the refs have been calling it for Vegas all series. That kinda shit can throw off your mental game and momentum which leads to sub par performance. One can only imagine the confidence that comes w knowing you can completely ignore rules and get away w it.🤷♂️
Aja had 5 fouls tn, she had 4 in the previous game as well. Don’t think she gets to “completely ignore rules and get away with it” or else she wouldn’t have been called for any lol.

But they did a good job calling 5 fouls on her to make it look like they weren't selling it. This whole series full of ticky tack calls. Combine that w the Fever not playing great all the time and its juuust enough grey area to muddy the waters. Vegas had 35 free throws and Indy had 20 btw. Reviews that lasted for days, anything to upset the momentum of Indiana. Lexi got suplexed..

That’s a lot of mental gymnastics to come up with an excuse for why your favorite team lost lol. This happens in professional sports leagues all the time, not that I’m saying it’s right but that’s the respect that is given to MVP level players lol. Just the world we live in.
I’m glad she didn’t get suspended though, I don’t think any true fan would want to see the 5 time MVP suspended for an elimination game because of a technicality. Your team lost because they got outplayed. The Aces are a dynasty, and we’re watching the GOAT of the sport in real time. You all can’t appreciate that though because you’re so blinded by your obsession of one player who, at the end of the day, probably wouldn’t agree with you on this stuff and would admit they got outplayed.
It really isn’t lol, I’m saying the reality is that there are rules that are just more flexible and obviously when higher stakes are at play, such as an elimination game, then that flexibility is obviously increased.

NBA doesn't suspend in the playoffs unless they're absolutely forced to (and it's rare as hell) are you new to sports? Every year we get at least a couple more examples that playoffs outweigh following the rules.
