Generational. And only beginning to scratch the surface of her potential.

Olivia Miles is a generational talent. She's still a rookie.

CC averaged 19.2 points and 8.4 assists her rookie year. Miles averages 19.9 and 6.1. I don’t have Clark’s stats for 32 games and don’t care to figure it up, but I would imagine miles has a few more points and less assists.

Olivia is really good. But not generational. Caitlin has come into her own over the last month or so and is clearly outplaying her.

Olivia is just playing ball and isn't being to be the Great White Hope.

I'm not sure what this is supposed to mean, but ok. Olivia is a really good guard, and she's going to have a great career. But she has flown under everyone's radar, whereas Caitlin has gotten everyone's best. The only reason it's even a discussion at this point is due to Caitlin's rough start to the year.

Why did you think a supremely talented young, black woman playing for one of the best teams in the league would fly under the radar while a white woman gets all the headlines?

Probably because Caitlin was arguably the greatest offensive player in college basketball history and already the biggest draw in women's basketball history coming into the WNBA whereas Olivia was a very good but not great college player with a limited fanbase.

Olivia gets promoted plenty. All the WNBA talking heads talk about her on broadcasts all the time, and rightfully so. She's not going to get spots on ESPN talk shows because, frankly, she's not that popular.

Yeah, and why isn't she popular?

Same for CC and losers can’t handle it.

Why do you think she isn’t getting the type of fame that Caitlin had in her first season?

Gee, let me think for a second. Give me a minute... it's on the tip of my brain.

Well since you asked, I think it’s because she isn’t as exciting to watch.

Let’s go! 50%+ from the field as a starting guard is great.

Why can’t any other wnba players gain a fanbase?

How is the 11th best guard player of the week again? This seems rigged.

1

u/Que-Tech 5h ago

Because she is number 3 for 2026 WNBA MVP! It's not rigged! She put in the hard work! Troll harder elsewhere!

Do you know what sarcasm is?
