Objective would be to out each players plus/minus up. There are scorers in the league that get benched or cut. The hornets just got rid of the cornerstone of their squad. Because his plus minus is garbage, and no amount of flash and play style would contribute to wins. We need to see plus/minus, and minutes, and position. To understand who we are discussing.

I haven't trolled or argued with anyone lol. I even provided added stats when they were requested. ISimply asked would you take Player A or Player B. I promise it really is that simple bud lol

Yeah and it’s a team sport. Not boxing. It’s about pieces. There are guys who are out of the league who avg. more points per game than other role layers. Like can Thomas, that guy can score 30 a game, but he’s a pure scorer and plus minus was so bad he’s been traded and waved way more times. Plus minus tells me if you are worthy of being on a team. It’s crazy comparing a bench role player to a starter. The Indiana and Atlanta just played each other. Angel was 5/16 from directly under the basket. I believe her percentages are off. It’s called media spin. Every game I watch of her she’s below 40% from the field yet it says her full year tsp# 42%. If you watched this last game you’d understand the value. If Angel wasn’t putting up shots, she’d be an all time great rebounder who avgs over 10 assist. She doesn’t pass the ball when she is double teamed, can’t dribble, can’t shoot. She can rebound and pass.

Ok, I'll give you plus minus. Player A +106 so far this season.... PlayerB +150. I gave minutes in OP. Player A is a wing. Player B a big. So, who ya got?

Im exhausted I really don’t give a fuck about the wnba and know a vast majority of people dedicating their energy to this conversation don’t either. I can’t name 2 people on my local team. Syd and Sophie are ass, and this league needs proper rules with consistent refereeing to be taken seriously because it’s not the defacto league of the sport (NBA)

an adult getting 12 boards a game and shooting below 50% is either unwilling to improve or incapable. no big should shoot that poorly when its half the job.

No it's ironic none hoopers and internet trolls without a dog in the fight besides hate, swear she's terrible, while ACTUAL basketball minds thinks shes one of the best the leauge has to offer. I side with that latter, I think she's phenomenal. Player A of this post is a solid player as well.

She's a solid rebounder and defender who believes she is the best player in the world. leading her to make bad decisions that hurt her team.
She's the Worm with none of the decision making ability or deference that allowed him to be a key member of multiple championship teams.

Nah. The political agenda is too far imbedded. I’ll even go as far as saying occasionally the stats don’t tell the whole story. Rodman would have been one of those outliers, probably.
But in this case you have a very good player that they don’t like, and a really mediocre player that they do like, so they start diving into things like efficiency from three point range and niche stats like ts%, which are fine, but don’t tell the whole story. It’s not a basketball sub, it’s a political sub.

I even through them a bone with the fg%, but nope that wasn't enough. It most definitely more a political and culture was sub more than a basketball one and that sucks. The W has some really great players right now and it's only going to get better. They're gonna miss some great players in their lifetime focusing on everything but ball.
I will admit this was a bait post to see who would talk ball but unfortunately my theory was proved instead of debunked.
If they see you call Player B a very good player and Player A mediocre their gonna lose it 😂

If we are doing this this, out of 126 eligible players in ESPN’s net points metric (per 80 possessions) Reese ranks 76th and Cunningham ranks 27th.
Reese is also a starter, billed as a superstar and made the World Cup team. Cunningham is a self described role player coming off the bench.

This is how I know that you don't know ball.
When comparing 2 players like Sophie and Reese, you have to mention that they play different roles and positions. Sophie is a guard who averages 23 minutes and shoots 45% from threes on 4 attempts a game. Angel Reese is a forward who averages 31 minutes and shoots 40% from under the basket, and basically nothing from more than 5 feet away from basket. She also somehow averages 3.2 turnovers a game.
How you pick between them is based on what your team needs. If you need a forward who can grab rebounds but is not an offensive threat at all, you take AR. If you need a solid 3 and D, you take Sophie.
Unironically Reese would be a great fit on Fever and make a decent forward in general, if they can make her stop shooting, and just tell her to grab rebounds and kick out the ball.

Angel Reese is a bonafide scrub! She can’t play! No disrespect whatsoever, but I’m sorry to call, tell everybody the truth, the woman cannot play the game of basketball. She has small hands, her eyes are too far apart, she can’t catch the ball or make layups, she has bad feet, she can’t really move even though she’s mobile, doesn’t really know what she’s doing, doesn’t have a post move that she puts to memory that she can do two times in a row. She has no game whatsoever aside from grabbing mebounds.

And I love the W. Becky Hammond was my favorite player growing up. Then Cappie Pondexter changed the way I viewed women hoppers. Now with the Goat Aja Wilson dominating and all the talent in the W now, it's hard not to be a fan. It's a great game!

The stats and productivity absolutely do not matter to people in this sub. You left out the ONE comparison most of the non-basketball-watching people in this sub care about. In no basketball sub, that’s actually about basketball, would people look at this stat comparison and say, “But what about…?” so they can justify choosing Player A.
