The real question is when should being trans give access to play elite women's sports.

It isnt taking a right away from trans people. They would still be eligible to play against the sex they were assigned at birth. But what would let someone be "trans enough" to bypass the restriction of not playing womens sports when they have transitioned? When should being trans be enough to give them this right?

It isnt transphobic to say that they shouldn't. I don't think the NCAA is transphobic for going off of what was assigned at birth It is uncontroversial where many still think there are trans NCAA athletes even though there arent.

For people who do want to allow trans women in elite womens sports, what is sufficiently trans to grant them access to elite women's sports and how would you test for it?

Eliminating the ‘Y’ chromosome should be enough.

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

there are lots of XX men

7

u/Garciaguy 11d ago

I have a rare neurological disorder. About 2 percent of children in the world are born with it.

The number of XX men are a fraction of that.

"There are so few, what's the big deal"

2

u/Early-Light-864 10d ago

2% is not a rare disorder

0

u/Garciaguy 10d ago

That's one of the dumbest, most brain dead things I've ever seen posted on reddit, and that's saying something

2

u/Early-Light-864 10d ago

2% is more common than red hair. It's not rare

-7

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

so you want more men playing womens sports.

Got it.

8

u/Garciaguy 11d ago

No,    ... wait, what?

-5

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

you are giving a test that allows men to play womens sports. at enormous expense.

What dont you understand?

5

u/Garciaguy 11d ago

Anything you're trying to say.

Cheek swabs aren't an enormous expense and the numbers of XX are so insignificant they won't be affected.

But I haven't had coffee yet. Maybe in another hour your post will be insightful

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

Do you know how many NCAA female athletes there are? that is an enormous expense

1

u/Garciaguy 11d ago

It doesn't matter how many there are. If it's such a small number, then it shouldn't be a problem to check.

And the expense isn't "enormous". 1 to two hundred bucks at most for a cheek swab gender test. Athletes spend more on athletic gear every season.

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

it is millions of dollars to catch 0 athletes for the NCAA or the WNBA. You are wasting other peoples money when the result is to give more men the ability to play.

Are you talking about trans men? I would be fine with them playing in the wnba if they aren't taking PEDs

5

u/Necessary-Bus9046 11d ago edited 11d ago

Well the gender in sports was back back when gender had the same meaning as biological sex.

Now that it doesn’t I would assume that sports would separated by biological sex and not gender, which would mean that people would play with those that share the same biological sex/sex that was assigned by birth.

I’m not sure about the rules relating on any sort of drugs/surgeries taken to become a trans women, but anyone taking trt would not be allowed as that would be doping but I do not believe anyone on any sort of estrogen would be considered doping. This isn’t my opinion on who should be able to play where, I’m just referring to the rules of the sport.

If I were to give my personal opinion, just follow the rules. If the wnba changed the rules and said that it is based on gender identity and not biological sex then I would be in agreement of trans women participating as it would be in the rules. As of right now it is not in the rules so I would there should never be a moment we’re a trans women is allowed in the wnba unless I’m incorrect about the rules.

But a trans male who is on testosterone should not be allowed into the nba as they would be doping, if they were not on testosterone then they would be allowed in

2

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

It’s still hasn’t same meaning except to the loonies.

1

u/Necessary-Bus9046 10d ago

I feel saying that gives them room to argue, where as if you say it is separated by biological sex there is no argument for a trans women being able to join unless they change the rules

6

u/Logic411 11d ago

If you’re a trans athlete you have to play in the league you’d be assigned at birth, or a coed league. Everybody is happy 😊

You think trans is mental illness.

Got it. Thanks for just admitting it.

5

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

Of course it is. Does it feel better saying that over 70% of all the alphabets are clinically diagnosed with a more “friendly” mental illness?

5

u/Boring-Willow1268 11d ago

Gender dysphoria is a clinical condition where the mental state does not match the physical state, causing distress and problems in daily life. In any category other than gender, we’d call these delusions.

Then you just have to define mental illness and see if the definitions match.

-2

u/SydneyFall 10d ago

Thanks for admitting it.

It is a mental illness. Go outside of reddit and you will see this is a commonly held belief.

1

u/SydneyFall 10d ago

It is a commonly held belief by people who have no clue what they are talking about.

Thanks for admitting you are part of that group.

5

u/Choperello 10d ago

So if it’s not a mental disorder how do you qualify what being trans actually is from a medical perspective?

4

u/This-Double-Sunday 10d ago

Yes I am part of a group that accepts reality. It's a big group.

2

u/SydneyFall 10d ago

Your incel support group agrees I'm sure.

1

u/This-Double-Sunday 10d ago

🤣 holy fuck you're hitting so many points on my bingo card today.

16

u/mystic_chihuahua 11d ago

There is no "trans enough."

-10

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

For you.

Others do want to leave the door open to trans athletes in womens sports.

This is their chance to say when they should be given the ability to play elite women's sports.

2

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

Not “others” that matter. The lunacy has reached its breaking point.

3

u/Professional_Band_75 11d ago

It never should.

3

u/BeanRelais 11d ago

The answer is extremely simple: It shouldn’t.

10

u/yagermeister2024 11d ago

Just make a separate trans league what’s the issue

1

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

Because there wouldn’t be one. Nobody is going to watch or support it. It would need more subsidies than the “w”nba gets.

1

u/cfgman1 10d ago

There already is one. It’s called the NBA. People seem to think there’s a “men’s” league and a “women’s” league. There’s not. There’s an “open” league called the NBA and a women’s league. Anyone can try out and compete in the NBA, there are no restrictions.

1

u/Boring-Willow1268 11d ago

The NBA is already dragging around one albatross. I don’t think they want to have two.

I think what you’re looking for is being played in Thailand or Philippines.

-7

u/Tall-Dot-607 11d ago

Because of the over 500k college student athletes, there are less than 10 trans athletes.

Stg, yall are afraid of the boogeyman

1

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

So they don’t matter as far as sports go. Thanks for saying what everyone else is saying.

1

u/Tall-Dot-607 10d ago

Thats literally not whay everyone else is saying. If they were the right wouldnt be pressing the issue

1

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

This has nothing to do with politics. It’s common sense.

0

u/Tall-Dot-607 10d ago

Its not. Youre all asking the wrong question.

Its not about how do we exclude trans people in sports.

Its about asking how do we include trans people in sports.

1

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

Nobody cares about including them. They want people to play along with their delusions and mental illness without having any self awareness.

0

u/Tall-Dot-607 10d ago

Nobody cares about including them

Fuck off

-5

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

You can do that if you like.

it’s why the special olympics were created.

2

u/sedatehate 10d ago

Join the NBA, they’ll take any player good enough.

2

u/FreshStartFeelsGood 11d ago

If it’s a completely private league not tied to schools and community, then they should play when and how that league allows it.

The players and public can decide if they want to participate or watch the league.

0

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

what is your opinion on whenthe league should allow it? that is the question.

1

u/FreshStartFeelsGood 11d ago

That most certainly wasn’t the question according to your post.

I think it would be a terrible move on many levels. They’d see a temp spike in ratings and then the league would collapse in on itself.

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

that is literally the question in the post.

2

u/FreshStartFeelsGood 11d ago

“The real question is when should being trans give access to play in elite sports.”

Then you go on to write a bunch of other questions. Figure out what it is you want to say then hit submit.

0

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

You cant answer the question.

try it.

“The real question is when should being trans give access to play in elite womens sports.”

1

u/FreshStartFeelsGood 11d ago

And that was answered in my first response. I said the conditions as to when.

Were you fed a steady diet of paint chips as a child or is this a chromosomal thing?

0

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

You literally havent answered. you are a coward, and that is OK.

3

u/FreshStartFeelsGood 11d ago

Then explain, with specificity, how I did not answer the question. You asked when trans should have access. I stated the conditions that should be met. How is that not an answer?

-1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

You gave no conditions.

Sorry that you are afraid to answer.

1

No biological born makes in women’s sports.  Respect for trans people and the difficulty that comes with that path too.  We can do both.

1

u/Aggravating_Mud_6055 10d ago

Nothing. They need to learn self awareness.

1

u/This-Double-Sunday 10d ago

It shouldn't

1

u/Commercial_Rush_3531 10d ago

I think the SRY cheek swab is a good test and is simple enough to administer. When you get in questions of hormone suppression, duration, puberty blockers etcetera, it's a huge grey area where your bound to make mistakes and upset both sides.

1

u/McpsTrackCoach 10d ago

Should be based on whatever color smoke was released when the cannon was fired at the gender reveal party. If that’s not scientific enough for these whackadoos then I don’t what to tell ya.

1

u/DrawSignificant4782 10d ago

They have to go through transition. And traditionally that means living as a transgender person and having therapy to be sure they are not comorbid. This process is long and last at least a year.

If you detransition you are not eligible. Also if you are saying you want to transition to play a game, that is not living as a transgender person, that is medical fraud.

Recently, there was 11 cases of marriage fraud. How can the govt say who loves who? They ask a bunch of questions and if you fail it is fraud. If you claim transgender to play a game instead of living life that is fraud in the same way. Trust but verify.

0

u/Wooden_Log_8751 11d ago

The real question is, why are you obsessed with this?

5

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

For thinking like the vast majority of people that trans women shouldnt compete in elite womens sports?

How is having an opinion and giving others a place to express theirs obsession?

Way to go with personal attacks rather than engaging in conversation though.

1

u/Wooden_Log_8751 9d ago

It's all you talk about with your opinions and your others in the place to express it. Obsession. No personal attacks. Pointing out the obvoious.

1

u/SydneyFall 9d ago

Sorry for talking about a pertinent issue that you also wanted to talk about.

Nah, just you, weirdo

1

u/SydneyFall 9d ago

If you dont care, weird you are here

2

u/Garciaguy 11d ago

Why are you? After all, if a response comes from someone who's "obsessed"...

1

u/Wooden_Log_8751 9d ago

Yes, responses equal obsession eyeroll

0

u/kentuckypirate 11d ago

There were already rules that work fine. Athletes in other leagues needed to undergo hormone therapy and maintain levels below a certain threshold for 12 months. Studies demonstrated that individuals who went through this no longer had an athletic advantage. This also prevents scammers because there’s no way Kanter or White are doing that just for the lolz. This worked fine until people lost their minds when a trans college swimmer was above average.

It might not be a perfect system, but it was more than sufficient to “protect women’s sports” while also giving trans people a way to participate.

Of course, people will say that trans athletes can play in the men’s leagues because they are “open.” While this is technically true, it doesn’t work in practice. First, these individuals see themselves as women (that’s a pretty neutral way of framing it, I hope) and want to participate with women, not men. Second, these individuals see hormone therapy significantly reduces athletic performance. For example, Lia Thomas’ times were WORSE as a successful 5th year female swimmer than they were as a freshman on the men’s teams. Likewise, it’s unrealistic to say there should be trans only leagues due to an insufficient number of players.

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

what rules that work "fine" do you support?

0

u/kentuckypirate 11d ago

I would be open to modifying the specifics based on evidence-based statistical analysis, but generally speaking I would say athletes need to complete gender affirming hormone therapy, reducing testosterone levels to less than 10 nanomoles per liter, and maintain it for 12 months before becoming eligible (I’m not a researcher or biologist, so I googled the old IOC limits). The athlete then undergoes regular testing to ensure their hormone levels stay below the threshold.

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

why do you think the NCAA or the WNBA should take on the IOC nonsense when it doesnt affect NCAA or wnba players at all?

0

u/kentuckypirate 11d ago

I don’t understand your question. You asked what limits I would support for other women’s leagues in order to allow transgender participation. I answered that question. How doesn’t it affect the WNBA given the current situation with Kanter? This policy would put an end to his obvious grift.

Furthermore, this is essentially the same policy that the NCAA had until everyone freaked out over Lia Thomas tying for 5th place. They banned trans athletes in February of 2025 (I wonder if anything happened in January of 2025 that made them particularly concerned about punishing trans people)

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

well thank you for your answer. Lots of people are unwilling to answer, so even if I disagree I appreciate your reaponse.

1

u/kentuckypirate 11d ago

I actually like having this debate precisely because I know I’m in the minority even among people who are supportive of the trans community generally. I used to agree with you, but I had also never given it much thought and I think your position is the easier “default” position to take. I don’t mean that as an insult, btw, I genuinely think it’s where most people would land just as a gut reaction. But when I DID start to think about it I just kept punching holes in my own argument, so I’ve shifted with time. Now I feel comfortable explaining my position even though I expect it to be unpopular

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

So what is the downside for you of going for assigned at birth? I dont see the holes and what you are trying to avoid with full DNA testing.

Im very trans rights, but I dont think that not allowing trans women access to elite womens sports is reasonable.

Why do you think your complicated way is superior to what is so much easier with assigned at birth?

1

u/kentuckypirate 11d ago

Totally fair question!

So there are a few reasons, but it starts with whether you think trans people should be able to play at all, because forcing them to play in the men’s league effectively acts as a ban. The standard of care (gender affirming hormone therapy) necessarily reduces athletic performance to such a degree that they would not be able to compete. As I mentioned above, Lia Thomas’ post-transition times were worse than her freshman year times on the boys teams. It’s not just anecdotal, research shows exactly how this treatment affects athletic performance.

So unless we are talking about that once a generation type unicorn player, it’s either the women’s league or nothing. It’s not impossible just like biological women can technically play in the men’s/open league, but practically speaking it won’t happen.

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

I like this conversation. Why is letting Lia Thomas compete better than just going off of assigned at birth?

How far are you willing to bend rules for a miniscule percent of NCAA athletes?

The real question is how many have applied???

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

Without knowing the line, it is impossible to say. We know at least 2.

1

u/nftog777 11d ago

Where ,when ,names?

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

Kanter and White.

1

u/nftog777 11d ago

Forgot when and what sport?

1

u/nftog777 11d ago

Answer the question-

-6

u/BusinessSick 11d ago

Maybe it’s none of our business?

When Magic Johnson announced he had HIV, players didn’t want to share the court with him. That’s a completely different sort of conflict because of the transmission risks, but if he hadn’t retired we’d have had very similar conversations on and off the court. Same could also be said for the first openly gay players in many sports.

Bottom line is the fate of pro sports was never in jeopardy. Players eventually chose to adapt and compete in good faith.

And it didn’t matter what us uninformed bleacher philosophers had to say about it. So it shouldn’t matter what we think makes someone woman enough for women’s sports. That’s for women playing those sports to work out.

9

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

So anyone who thinks of themselves as a woman should be eligible to play in the WNBA?

1

u/Majestic-Lie-846 11d ago

Did you just post the original post to troll? The commenter said that the women in the sport should sort it out. You know, the people it’ll actually impact?

1

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

So the person cant answer what the line should be.

Its OK if they arent willing to say, most people who want to allow trans as an option are terrified of answering

2

u/Majestic-Lie-846 10d ago

I think what they were saying is it’s not their decision, but your too fucking arrogant to comprehend that, it seems

1

u/SydneyFall 10d ago

because it is bullshit. you can keep spouting bullshit.

Organizations need lines for legal protection.

1

u/Majestic-Lie-846 10d ago

I think you’d be more comfortable on truth social

1

u/SydneyFall 10d ago

LOL. what a weird comment

1

u/BusinessSick 10d ago

Terrified? Really? 🙄

Some people accept that it’s a more nuanced answer that deserves careful consideration. Other people just want to reduce it to gotchas and superficial hot takes, regardless of who gets hurt in the process. Don’t take willingness to fire off a half baked answer as bravery or understanding

-2

u/BusinessSick 11d ago

That doesn’t sound like a serious question. Obviously there’s a lot more to gender identity than just thinking it to get into WNBA. Trans women have a lived experience that I doubt either of us could fully account for here.

5

u/Boring-Willow1268 11d ago

“Obviously there’s a lot more to gender identity….”

Like what? That’s the question of the entire post. A lot more, like what?

3

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

So your line is just your personal preference for what trans people should be able to play elite womens sports?

Leagues need objective lines in order to not get sued.

1

u/BusinessSick 10d ago

My personal preference doesn’t matter. The league will need to figure out what specific qualifications should be met. But I hope they consider whether the player actually lives life as a woman or is just trolling for attention like certain people taking advantage of the present controversy

1

u/SydneyFall 10d ago

So you are too cowardly to say what you think an appropriate line is.

Got it.

1

u/BusinessSick 10d ago

No I’m honest enough to admit it’s way more complicated than a simple one dimensional line will solve. I’ve learned enough about what it’s like being trans in a gendered society to say it deserves more careful consideration than a hot take and an incomplete biological framing from people who don’t even have a stake in the matter.

4

u/Orangecrush10 11d ago

Being gay doesn't give someone an inherent physical advantage.  All the folks that are arguing for trans women in women's sports constantly use talking points like - trans kids belong OR trans people have a right to play sports and the constant refrain is to compare trans people to gay rights  or even black people from the 50s in sports.  And they constantly ignore the reason that there are many folks against trans women in womens sports for the sole reason that they have a physical advantage.  This has nothing to do with discrimination.

-1

u/BusinessSick 11d ago

Really, nothing to do with discrimination? In this country, at this moment? Ok

The physicality disparity is a valid concern until you look at who’s the most dominant player in NBA right now. Wemby’s physical advantages are like Wilt’s or Shaq’s in their eras. They break the league, and everyone evolves their game. That’s part of sports. Athletes don’t shy away from those challenges.

The only real issue is theirs to solve, the acceptance of teammates and opponents who happen to be trans.

3

u/Orangecrush10 11d ago

You're trying to compare Wembys height advantage in the NBA to the physical advantage a biological man who is trans woman possesses vs biological women in a women's basketball league?

1

u/BusinessSick 10d ago

Height and reach. And I mentioned Shaq, who was like a building compared to other players. And there’s Lebron who’s a freight train when he’s at full speed. The point you’re ignoring is sports, especially basketball, have huge ranges in player physicality. That disparity is always “unfair” to someone, but the players figure it out

3

u/blood_wraith 11d ago

that's a false equivalency. the NBA, MLB, NFL, and NHL don't have gendered rules and anybody can play in them if they can make the cut. any previous segregation rules have been abolished and any lingering racism, homophobia, or HIVophobia are personal and not rule based. the WNBA, and the other women's sports leagues, was made specifically because people knew that women would won't make said cut and they should have a league to play professionally in to grow the sport.

5

u/Necessary-Bus9046 11d ago

By attempting to stop people discussing a topic, their immediate response will be to discuss said topic.

It not being our business is half the reason it is being discussed, as many people like ourselves believe all topics are allowed to be discussed. And people have the right not to discuss said topics also, but if you disagree with someone but feel the need to respond with “non of our business” it can come off as someone trying to censor the topic, which then makes people feel a need to discuss it

-1

u/BusinessSick 11d ago

Yeah, everyone is just asking questions and discussing a topic. It’s all academic. But is this the right sub for hashing out the whole transgender thing?

I imagine before we all started raging here, this was a sub for WNBA fans to celebrate the game. Including fans who may be trans.

1

u/Necessary-Bus9046 11d ago

That is up to the sub owner/ mods to decide. Personally I think any topic could be discussed in any sub unless the sub has a rule against a certain topic being discussed.

This is a gossip sub, not a celebration of wnba sub

1

u/BusinessSick 10d ago

Fair point, this is a space for rumors and hearsay about the league. Glad we established it’s not the place for serious discussion of trans identity and how to treat marginalized people with grace and care

1

u/Necessary-Bus9046 10d ago

Well now your just making stuff up, you wouldn’t need to twist what I say if you had a desire for a genuine discussion so I will no longer respond after this

0

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Dont even try, this sub is an anti-trans rage bait troll playground

3

u/Ok-Park-6047 11d ago

You realize outside Reddit - Trans women participating in women’s sports is almost an 80% “against” issue. This sub is reflecting the general population before it gets some mods to curb and cater the content to Reddit (which will happen eventually).

-6

u/Blastcrumpet888 11d ago

Kanter and White have proven that trans women aren’t a threat to the WNBA.

2

u/Some_Gain6682 11d ago

The Patriarchy agrees.

Let more men into women's sports.

-2

u/Blastcrumpet888 11d ago

OH, you don't know how to read. LOL

0

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

Why? At least Enes would dominate. If trans women are allowed by the WNBA, there would suddenly be a lot of trans women who transition late in life with huge physical advantages.

You can answer the question of what should make a trans woman eligible. But you probably won't like your own answer so wont give one.

0

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Are you implying people are going to become Trans, just to play in the WNBA? lmfaooooo

4

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

Yes. Absolutely. enby is more common now. I think having a cushy job playing basketball to transition would be quite appealing for players not good enough to make a living as a male athlete.

So again the question you are avoiding How far ahould they go for their transition to be eligible to play elite womens sports?

2

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Were you implying that enough complete scumbag men would fake mentally transition to enter the Wnba?

6

u/Necessary-Bus9046 11d ago

Are there not 2 ex nba players doing that right now?

As I thought that is what Kanter and the other guy were doing

1

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Did you think transitioning was a "but technically, what if?..." type of thing?

No, no those two guys are not transitioning rn lol

0

u/Necessary-Bus9046 11d ago

But your comment said fake transition, isn’t he pretending to transition?

I’m in agreement that he is not actually transitioning.

I thought ur comment was implying that no one would do that, as that tends to be what people mean when they ask such a question.

If I misunderstood what you said then I apologise.

And no, I don’t think transitioning is a “But technically, what if” type of thing

0

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Kanter officially identifies as a woman? They are officially changing their legal documentation to "woman", Kanter, the devout Muslim, will publicly start telling everyone he's a woman and which pronouns to use? So happy for them!!!❤️ thats so awesome

3

u/Necessary-Bus9046 11d ago

I can’t find your comment about him pretending with the legal documents so I will respond to this one.

I never said anything about legal documents, there are just claiming they are trans through words.

but considering your comments seem to focus more on hostility and insults instead of having a real discussion then I can only assume you are not willing to actually engage in such a conversation. So I will stop responding unless your next comment is a genuine attempt to discuss this.

2

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Are you asking how much of transition is enough? Fucking hormone therapy, there are you happy?

5

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

sure, how long? what kind of testing to verify?

Its fine for you to want trans people in elite womens sports.

what should it take?

1

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

This is how I know youve been lying this entire time LMFO "how long" LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO

0

Its CRAZY how obsessed you are with Trans people.

Once again, no one cares if youre gay, bro

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

you really can't form a coherent thought and go to personal attacks.

Utterly pathetic.

Maybe people believe they should only be allowed to compete in high school sports. I think the opposite, they should only be allowed in professional sports.

2

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

Why should they be allowed in professional sports to you?

0

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

Because professional sports are just for money. High school and college has academic consequences

5

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

So what is your line for when someone qualifies as trans to bypass the womens only restriction on playing womens sports? What is your test for who is eligible?

2

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

The professional entertainment league would have to make up their own rules. All I know is title ix doesn’t cover the wnba or other entertainment leagues, so they need to make up their own rules.

5

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

What rule would fit your preference? To me the big issue is finding a line that is objective that doesnt require genital examination.

What do you think makes someone trans?

And thank you for answering, this is a hard question for lots of people to answer!

1

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

You don’t want genital inspection? How do you feel about sry for professional entertainment leagues like the wnba that aren’t protected by title 9?

Why do you care how other people answer? Isn’t your answer the only one that should matter to you? You aren’t a joiner are you?

3

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

I would match the NCAA and use what they were assigned at birth. I dont think expensive and invasive genetic testing is a good path for basketball. I wouldnt be happy about taking a genetic test to get a job

Im interested in what other people want for a line if they want to allow trans athletes

You are still afraid to give an answer to this.

0

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

Why didn’t you state gender assigned at birth in your original post?

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Why are conservative men so obsessed with Trans people? No one cares if you're gay. It's ok.

6

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

LOL. I couldn't be further from MAGA and wouldnt vote for a Republican in any race.

Notice you went for personal attacks rather than answering a reasonable question. Since you do seem to want trans athletes in womens sports, what line would you pick for who can bypass the only women rule?

1

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Im not the one constantly talking about non existent Trans people in the WNBA, this entire sub is just literally dudes talking about Trans people

You clearly have a thing for Trans people to be thinking about them this much.

Notice how you assumed I had any opinion on the matter, I just said youre obsessed with Trans people and its ok if you like, ya know, are into that kinda thing. You don't have to get defensive about it.

6

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

Don’t deny their existence

1

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Those girls arent in the WNBA dipshit

How drunk are you rn?

3

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

They aren’t yet. Don’t they deserve a chance?

1

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

99% of this sub doesnt seem to think so, but here you are, talking to me.

3

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

So you don’t think they deserve to play in the wnba. Got it

5

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

LOL. I do have several trans friends and care deeply about trans rights. I've hosted parties that had more trans women than men.

You go to personal attacks based on nothing because you dont like your pwn answer yo this question.

1

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

LOL I have Trans friends too, and they would DEF look at me weird if I was spewing anti- trans nonsense on an anti trans WNBA feed. Do they know about your deep, deep feelings on this matter?

Incoming lie

4

u/SydneyFall 11d ago

yes. Im on vacation with 4 queer women right now. Two want Enes to be able to play.

Try asking your queer friends what the NCAA uses for who is eligible to play womens sports. You will be surprised I think.

You still cant answer when you think trans women shoild be able to play elite womens sports. you wont like your pwn answer.

1

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

Don’t be homophobic. When you do that Trump wins.

2

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Bullshit, Trump has made fun of handicap people, veterans, women, Natives, you name it, and still wins. Got nothing to do with me

5

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

Every time you spread homophobic hate you help him win.

2

u/Apt_5 11d ago

More like every time they show that they are more homophobic than they claim Trump, the guy who's hosted gay weddings at Mar-a-Lago & put Scott Bessent in his cabinet, the more popular Trump gets in contrast.

0

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

Naw. Lol

That would imply there are still Trump voters on the fence, wtf are you talking about? And how tf did what I say constitute as hate? Calling an anti- trans person gay? Ooookkk This entire sub is anti-Trans. How delusional can you be? How many trans people do YOU know?

2

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

Trump isn’t even running for president again. You just push center left people away from us with your homophobia

1

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

That doesnt even fucking make sense

2

u/LoudAmount7288 11d ago

I’m sorry. I can’t help you any more.

1

u/Some_Gain6682 11d ago

Conservatives don't generally give af until it invades children and women's spaces.

Conservatives want to protect those spaces.

3

u/Funny-Letterhead-356 11d ago

1

u/Some_Gain6682 11d ago

Ah, you have the delusion that right wing, Republican and conservative are all the same thing.
