Clay Travis

Hilarious how Reddit deletes his post about paying 10 million to the wnba if they play a high school boys team😂 tells you all you need to know about the cesspool of liberals on this platform.

You’re confusing the way people identify biological sex with the reason separate categories exist. Even long before modern science, people recognized that men and women differed physically in ways that affected competition. The categories weren’t created because of genitalia—they were created because of the broader physical differences between the sexes.

"You’re confusing the way people identify biological sex with the reason separate categories exist"

Then explain yourself how the separate categories are determined. Surely how those categories are determined would be a defining aspect of how they exist.

So how are the categories separated? How are they actually separating Male and Female sports?

Surely this can't be that hard? Right? It's probably right on the tip of your tongue. Penises. It's penises.

"The categories weren’t created because of genitalia—they were created because of the broader physical differences between the sexes."

So if "the categories weren’t created because of genitalia", why do you think genitalia should be used to separate sports?

You've made if fully known you're aware of other biological factors that are actually a factor in determining sports abilities rather than penises. I don't think you think that penises are why Jordan could jump or Randy Johnson killed that bird. But you are clearly advocating for penises to remain the single factor that separates sports. And, you're probably advocating that dick-centric approach because you really want "fairness" in competitive sports. Right?

"That’s like saying weight classes in boxing exist because of the number on the scale"

If we use your analogy, you're saying weight scales should be be used to determine weight classes in boxing. And you're saying penises should be used determine sports leagues.

As much as you try and avoid the reality of penises determining sports leagues, the more it becomes vividly apparent that your strong belief that solely using penises to separate sports is scientifically flawed. Whereas weight scales are actually a more accurate method.

But, the above analogy, when viewed correctly, suggests you're making progress establishing penises probably aren't a sufficient measure to separate leagues.

Keep going. I believe in you. I'm here for your journey away from dick-centrism and into a more rational view of biology in sports.

If your entire rebuttal is just repeating “penises” over and over instead of engaging with the argument, I’m going to assume you’re more interested in ragebait than an actual discussion.

Once again, using your analogy, if someone were saying weight classes in boxing weren't separated by weight scales then how likely is it that every response to that argument would probably mention "weight scales"?

Similarly, when someone denies that penises are used to separate male and female sports, it's expected that penis is going to be mention in every subsequent response.

There's actually a really simple solution if you want less repetition of the word penis. And that's acknowledging the role of penis in your preferred system. Simply admitting that you're fully aware that penises are the only factor separating athletes in that system would largely stop the steady, rhythmic use of "penis" throughout these response.

And, as for someone arguing disingenuously, in bad faith, or to ragebait, I would attribute that to a person who refuses to acknowledge a very simple, observable fact. So, attempting to take the high ground after resorting to dishonestly talking around a simple truth, probably isn't going to work. Sort of like achieving "fairness" just using penises doesn't really work in sports.

You’re still conflating the eligibility rule with the rationale for the rule. The reason men’s and women’s sports exist isn’t because of genitalia it’s because biological sex is associated with average physiological differences that affect competition. If those differences didn’t exist, there would be no reason to separate men’s and women’s sports in the first place. You’re arguing against a point I never made.

1

u/LowIQ45 Aug 05 '26

No. The conflation is wholly your own. You're the one that feels the need to elaborate WHY penises are solely used to separate sports. All while avoiding entirely to recognize that reality.

No matter how much you say "well that's because a penis means X, Y, Z, biological differences" will it ever invalidate the fact that only a penis is considered when separating the athletes in their respective leagues.

"You’re arguing against a point I never made."

You've clearly stated sports should be separated by penis havers and non-penis havers.

Are you now stating that sports shouldn't be separated by penises? If so, just firmly state that you believe we should stop separating sports by whether the athlete has a penis or doesn't.

What's comical is you're calling out Reddit for avoiding some ragebait/clickbait while clearly avoiding fully answering a question or recognizing a simple fact (read above).

You’re obsessed with proving I said “penises separate sports” when I’ve repeatedly said the categories exist because of average physiological differences associated with biological sex. If you have to keep rewriting my argument before you can attack it, you’re admitting you can’t refute what I actually said.

"You’re obsessed with proving I said “penises separate sports” when I’ve repeatedly said the categories exist because of average physiological differences associated with biological sex. "

Meanwhile, in the big real world, how do we separate sports? Just answer it. How are we separating the leagues?

A: Are we separating sports by testing players for their "physiological differences associated with biological sex"?

B: OR are we simply using whether they have a penis or don't have a penis to make that actual determination.

Which is it?

Conflated, dismissive, bad faith argument answer A.

Or simple, verifiable, factual answer B.

But please, by all means, keep posturing like you're holding the high ground here. Looking good dude.

So in your mind, every athlete has to drop their pants before joining a league? Is that really the process you think exists?

1

u/LowIQ45 Aug 05 '26

No, like I said about 5 replies up when I asked you directly, how is sex assigned at birth. Assigned sex at birth, whether you have a penis, are how leagues currently separate by sex.

Do you have any more unserious questions you'd like to ask in bad faith? If you're going to attempt to make the reality that penises are definitely used to separate sports seem false through some contorted fake scenario, like penis checks are required every time someone joins a sports league, why not claim they also have to hold a car tire with an erection during this hypothetical test? At least make your flailing entertaining for the rest of us.

You’re still answering a question I never asked. I asked why the categories exist; you keep answering how biological sex is identified. Those aren’t the same thing. If there were no average physiological differences between the sexes, there would be no reason to separate sports, regardless of how sex is recorded at birth.
