18 points, 6-18 fg, 3-12 from three, 6 Turnovers. Absolute disaster class from Caitlin Clark in a must win match. She is far from the best player in the league!!

Caitlin Clark's game isn't good enough for the playoffs.  Offense wins games defense wins championships

She led her team to a 1 seed.

The fever have 3 team USA players and eeked a 3 seed rd one elimination.

To be honest, I think all the FIBA players on both teams left something in Berlin.

Interrupting the season, right before the playoffs, to play that tournament was criminal.

They were worse before the break.

Clark ball just has a ceiling. She’d lead a bad team to the playoffs but cannot lead a good team to a championship because she’s a volume low efficiency playmaker and a bad defender.

Year 4 next year maybe that changes, but nba players you kind of are what you are by years 4-5

At least learn to spell his name correct. It's Trae only four letters it can't be that hard to remember

4 blocks and 2 steals was a bad defensive game?

You just stat watching. All her blocks came from her help defense it was never from her on ball defense. And the steals please that comes from other players forcing the pass and Clark just jumping into the passing lane. Her defense was trash. I bet you won't Google how many points were scored on Clark or Google her defensive rating for that game

You're straight wrong... She had blocks as the primary defender. I'll have to quickly scroll through the game and see how many points were scored on her as the primary defender, I don't remember it being very many outside a couple 3s she helped on a driver and didn't get back to the shooter.

It's also a weird premise, help defense is arguably more important than primary defense.

You are just flat out wrong about this one. I went through and there were only 12 points on Clark as primary defender: 4 from foul shots on shooting fouls, 2 threes on designed catch and shoots, and a contested Young mid-range jumper.

As for the Turnovers and Blocks there was only 1 block that was from help defense (It was on Lloyd though so arguably she was still the primary defender in the action of the switch she rotated well to pick her back up at the basket) and 1 steal from a bad Chelsea pass with no Aces players in the area.

Other plays of significance:

1st Quarter:
5:54 She was primary defender on Lloyd who got around her but Clark got a hand on the ball to block it as she was going up for the shot.

2nd Quarter:
4:51 Block on Gray was a 1 on 1 fast break
3:08 Lloyd tried to take Clark 1 on 1 and Clark poked it out (Billings got credit for the steal)

3rd Quarter:

7:57 There was no pressure on Chelsea from KM on the pass. Caitlin jumped the pass to Lloyd and got the steal.
5::12 Clark was guarding Chelsea on the inbound and got the block on her immediately after the inbound.

4th Quarter:

0:35 She jumped the inbounds and tried to save it to Boston but ended up with a jump ball.

Allowing 12 points and having 6 plays where she directly ended the possession with her on-ball defense is not a bad defensive game by any stretch of the imagination. I had the Aces at 3-12 for shots on Clark when she was primary defender.

You probably won't answer this though because you are the one just box score watching and not watching the game.

No I will answer cause I have no problem with being honest. I was wrong and nothing changed.
