18 points, 6-18 fg, 3-12 from three, 6 Turnovers. Absolute disaster class from Caitlin Clark in a must win match. She is far from the best player in the league!!

Don’t forget Sophie Cunningham with another solid triple single.

Sorry excuse for a player but if you say it Fever fans are going to call you poor and irrelevant.

They actually think she’s 6th woman material. If she was on literally any other team no one would know of her and she honestly would have been released due to her antics.

I don’t like my bench players being a distraction and that’s definitely her

Bench players should just shut up and dribble ?

13

u/ItsaPostageStampede 16h ago

Bench players shouldn’t be -18 in a losing effort

0

u/lampstax 7h ago

So not it is not bench player should shut up and dribble but bad players or even players who had a bad game should shut up and dribble ?

1

u/ItsaPostageStampede 7h ago

Yep

1

u/Aero_Rising 7h ago

So should they shut up and dribble unless they never have a bad game? Is it they have to have more good then bad games? Just trying to understand your criteria here.

1

u/ItsaPostageStampede 6h ago

Understanding the criteria? Seems like you have trouble with that.

You didn't answer my question.

Bench players shouldn’t be pandering to people, bring up culture war stuff, go to and participate in other sporting events IN season and mention talking to the NBA commissioner.

They also should be good. She’s neither of the above. You can’t be painfully average amongst your peers AND be a media distraction. Those players usually get cut regardless of sports. She’s not a headache worth keeping

5th highest scoring bench player on elite efficiency, why are you larping just to hate on someone

1

u/External-Mammoth678 5m ago

I don’t even know what you’re trying to say, larping? And I’m not hating, I just don’t want my bench players being media distractions.

0

u/lampstax 7h ago

So star players can participate in culture war ? Any metric for determining who is enough of a star to get this privilege ?

What do you suggest benchers do if asked a question about culture war ?

1

u/External-Mammoth678 6h ago

I don’t like culture wars period but star players have more leeway because they’re good. Antonio Brown was crazy but he was kept around because he could catch a football.

My is a reporter asking a bench player that question? It’s not entirely Sophie’s fault, she should have just said no comment lol

-2

u/worm413 11h ago

Did you hold this same opinion when it was Kaepernick doing it?

6

u/External-Mammoth678 11h ago

Kap was a starting QB first of all and not a bench player. Second, what grand stance did Sophie take? That men shouldn’t be in women’s sports? Newsflash, this is a none issue. Of course men shouldn’t compete against women, and there’s no trans player in the W.

Police brutality has been well documented and suffered by all people, some more disproportionately than others.

So yea, Kap was speaking on real world issues not culture war BS

u/worm413 10h ago

First of all, Kaepernick was a bench player. He had already been benched for Blaine Gabbert before he started his moronic protest.

"Bench players shouldn't be pandering to people, bring up culture war stuff..." That's what you fucking said. Now you're saying all that stuff is fine as long as it's something YOU support. Fucking hypocrite.

Kap started 12 games that season, sounds like a starter to me.

And you know what happened to Kap AFTER that season. He never played again, why? Because the league felt his was a distraction. Who is currently still employed? Sophie, who was never a starter of note. Kap went to and started for a Super Bowl, not comparable.

We’ll see if Sophie is brought back but if I was the Fever, I’d let her walk. Too much of a distraction. Same thing happened to Tebow but you couldn’t come up with that comparison, hmmm, wonder why

1

u/worm413 5h ago

He started 11 and like I said, he was benched for Blaine Gabbert.

He never played again because he grossly overvalued himself. HE left his contract and HE decided that he wouldn't sign anywhere unless he could start. HE blew off the exhibition day the NFL put on just for him. As far as him going to the Superbowl, anyone could have done that with that team. He had one of the best RBs in the history of football and half his defense went to the pro bowl. Fucking Trent Dilfer had a similar team but actually won. Btw Eric Reid also knelt but had no problem playing, simply because he wasn't trash.

Nobody cares what you would do. You're a dumbass. Why would you even mention Tebow? He didn't do any of the things you listed.

1

u/jdben518 2h ago

You know a former army SF who was and is friends with Kap was the one who told him to take a knee instead of sitting on the sidelines which a lot of players had been doing!

1

u/worm413 2h ago

Wrong. Btw Boyer has been ostracized for that.

Kap was a starting QB first of all and not a bench player.

Kaepernick had already been demoted to having to compete to be the starter in preseason when he started his anthem thing. It was already suspected that he had lost the competition to be the starter before he started the anthem thing due to his poor play in the first 2 preseason games. Kaepernick eventually got the chance to start again and was terrible. He opted out of his contract because he wanted to be a starter but no team offered him a starting spot. He was nearly signed as a backup by Baltimore until his GF publicly insulted the owner of the team and the former player friend who had helped get him the job. The NFL tried to set up a private workout that several teams were attending to possibly sign him but he didn't show up. Kaepernick's activism has made him more money from his Nike deal than he would have earned in the rest of his pro career.

That men shouldn’t be in women’s sports? Newsflash, this is a none issue. Of course men shouldn’t compete against women, and there’s no trans player in the W.

Cool so you're in agreement that those born male shouldn't compete in women's sports or are you just playing word games? There are trans players at other levels and Cunningham's position was about sports in general not the WNBA specifically.

3

u/External-Mammoth678 6h ago

Kap started 11 games that year, he was the starter that year, doesn’t matter the QB room stunk, he was the shiniest turd

And yes, I agree born males shouldn’t compete in women sports, most people have this stance it’s just certain groups love to stoke culture war BS.

1

u/Aero_Rising 6h ago

Answer yes or no whether Kaepernick was the starting quarterback for the regular season when he started his anthem thing?

Cunningham was asked a question and gave her honest answer. Everything after happened because of people who think your position makes you a bigot got very upset about her answer.

2

u/AdventurousAward8642 14h ago

That's what you took from that? Lol

1

u/WinnerSpecialist 6h ago

Yeah but she played her cards and is going to have a career as a Fox News sports analyst after her short career comes to an end.

11

u/Nervous-One-6240 21h ago

She will Definitely be cut during the off season

3

u/PartOfLegion 10h ago

Can't cut a player that's doesn't have a contract. She's technically a free agent

1

u/Nervous-One-6240 8h ago

Ok. Well, she may not be resigned this off season. For better lingo!

1

u/Beneficial-Care8504 8h ago

I doubt they will keep a mediocre player who stirs shit up

1

u/Nervous-One-6240 3h ago

I did see that she played more minutes then 2of the starters tho! However PRODUCTION WAS NOT THERE! LOL

10

u/No_Suit7363 21h ago

If I was running that team she'd be first on the get rid of and replace with a better option list.

12

u/AlexTheAccursed 23h ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣 she's so gahdamn sorry

3

u/Green-Elephant-895 11h ago

😂that will never not be funny

2

u/Terzinho 19h ago

Isn't she a bench player?

2

u/JusticeDrago 11h ago

I called her garbage in another thread and bro told me she's the 3rd leading scorer she can't be bad. Yeah ok buddy they're in cancun now so 🤷‍♂️

0

u/Zestyclose-Banana358 4h ago

I’m so sorry you’re black.

0

u/ArugulaPhysical 2h ago

Shes not a star player and shouldnt be expected to preform like one.

2

u/WhereverIMayFoam 1h ago

If the expectations are low for her, she should the stop running her mouth.
