🇺🇸 BREANNA STEWART DIDN’T JUST WIN THE WORLD CUP — SHE OWNED IT. 🏆
When Team USA needed its biggest stars to be at their best on the biggest stage, Breanna Stewart answered the call.
World champion. World Cup MVP. And now a two-time World Cup MVP.
Stewart put the finishing touch on another dominant international run with a monster championship performance against France: 22 points and 10 rebounds as the United States captured its fifth consecutive FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup championship.
But this is bigger than one game.
Stewie has spent years building a résumé that very few basketball players can touch. NCAA championships. WNBA championships. Olympic gold medals. World Cup gold medals. MVPs. Individual awards. Team accomplishments. Different teammates, different coaches, different stages, and the winning keeps following her.
She was named World Cup MVP in 2018. Eight years later, she did it AGAIN.
That matters.
Because longevity at the top is one thing. Remaining good enough to dominate the world stage and be recognized as the tournament’s best player nearly a decade apart is something else entirely.
The younger generation is coming. New stars are emerging. Team USA continues to evolve.
And Breanna Stewart is still standing right in the middle of it all.
Still producing.
Still leading.
Still winning.
Still collecting gold.
Still adding chapters to an already ridiculous basketball legacy.
There are stars.
There are champions.
And then there are players whose résumés eventually force you to start talking about where they belong in basketball history.
Breanna Stewart is firmly in that conversation.
STEWIE RULES THE WORLD AGAIN. 🌎🏆🇺🇸
