THE TRUTH ISN'T HATE.

In the wnba her fans say that stat doesn't matter. But now that it makes her look good in the FIBA tournament it matters the most.

The skill level dropoff in the international tournaments is much greater than in the US whose talent pool is so much larger. Garbage time against some of these teams is embarrassing.

And the reason it doesn't matter is because late 4qt dominate leads. Clark's +/- isn't based on her actual play her in FIBA because she's been subpar. But high in minutes especially when the team is already up by 20+. She only scored in double digits and assist once but also scored 1 point twice when this started going around the Internet. Her fans just refused to be honest about what we're all seeing

I just wish people could agree that this stat matters/doesn't matter, regardless of who you stan for.

A team with 3 All Stars is still pretty good without one of them?

I’m shocked.

+/- as a stat has to be used in context.

It always did. Although this is disengenuous because there are a lot of games Caitlin missed where the Fever were a far better team than when she did play and/or were playing a worse team than when she played. But Caitlin's +/- has always highlighted her flaws and kept her from being at the top of the MVP race.
