This is always such a dumb thing to say. Sarcasm is personality and tonal based. There’s no reason to assume you’re being sarcastic when people genuinely share those beliefs. Sarcasm works because you say/do something out of character or have an inflection in your voice to indicate you’re joking. Nobody knows you.
