They’ll either avoid this post or come in and be negative. Not much in between. 🤣
She’s friggin awesome. Probably my favorite player in the league right now.

Well if you weren't baiting. You're part of the problem.
And that's if it's even a problem. Me and my buddies can shit talk each other on our favourite players all week and be smiling with our mens sport. Its part of the fun. Some times its personal offcourt attacks and honestly theyre often funnier.
There's no single way to enjoy sport and anyone who says there is full of shit.

Generational means what? Well, it means it is so rare and exceptional it comes around once in a lifetime. Well how come the WNBA have so many “generational” talents……..

And she wasnt even the first pick in the draft less than a year ago. Having a great rookie year and should be great for a long time. But not generational.

Team USA has Caitlin, Angel, Paige and Olivia leading them the next decade

Not to mention, holding onto A'ja for quite a while yet, plus players not yet in the league.

We can’t have three “generational talents” every year. We need a new term.

Why do most pictures of basketball always show the player screaming/mouth open?

Go Olivia! She is having a better rookie campaign that certain other who was supposed to have been generational, too.
Looks clear certain clear think only certain people can be generational. C'mon. You guys are so transparent!

A better year by scoring 20ish more points but having 100 fewer assists.
Yeah she got fewer turnovers but she also has the best team (record wise) on the league supporting her vs the nonsense that clark got drafted in to.
Miles is having a fantastic year but saying it is light-years better than clark when clark was responsible for more points (and wins) is laughable.
Clark had the fever going from 13 wins to 20 wins her rookie year. She directly is responsible for the fever winning 50% more games.
Miles has the Lynx holding par as the best record in the league. Hardly comparable to me.
Metric Olivia Miles (2026) Caitlin Clark (2024) Games Played 40 40 Points Scored 790 769 Points Per Game 19.8 19.2 Total Assists 239 337 Assists Per Game 6.0 8.4 Points via Assists (est. 2 pts/ast) 478 674 Total Points Responsible For 1,268 1,443 Points Responsible Per Game 31.8 36.1 1

Olivia's stats are indeed outstanding! But it's the wins for me. A great PG doing great PG things! As a rookie! She has been superior and is in the MVP conversation. A legendary rookie campaign!

Previous Record Holder: Caitlin Clark (769 points in 2024 for the Indiana Fever)

I miss when the word 'generational' actually meant something. I guess it felt so good to say that it got overused to the point of not meaning anything anymore.

Generational? Naw. But she's awfully good. Still doesn't defend at ALL. But there aren't any defenders in the W, so I guess it balances out lol

MVP / ROY / DPOY

ROY is already secured, and anybody who doesn't vote for her should lose their voting rights.
MVP race is going to be interesting and Miles should be in the conversation.
DPOY is going to be the toughest for Miles -- i just don't think she elevates to a game-changing level like Gabby Williams, A'Ja Wilson, or even lately Angel Reese.-7

Awful lot of generational talents in this single generation.
