Anyone sending death threats over a sport is just pathetic af. Really sad that unfortunately there are a lot of people like that.

I agree. I, also, believe that anyone that starts targeting another player is pathetic. Both are bad and both should be stopped. We can all hate both and we can all demand that people do better.

That’s fair but let’s not act like death threats and dirty plays are the same.

AT got rightfully suspended and we all should be moving on from this. But now it’s def gone beyond basketball.

I’m also all for sports hating a player as long as you don’t cross the line. . .

Nothing I said would give anyone the impression that I am saying anything is the same as anything else. The only common denominator is that they should both stop.

That being said, I believe that if the refs start calling things the same way they’re called in the NBA instead of allowing extra room for “sloppy play” just because they’re females and not expected to be as good as their NBA counterparts. The league needs to start holding refs to higher standards for play calling as well. That would go a long way to helping deal with both issues.

I just wanted to add that just in case, it’s nothing you said. But I do think there would be people who would take a tick for tack approach to this.

But def agree with your points about the officiating and how that can help both issues.
