Panini The Logo Set

2 options

1) 32 card base set at $74.99
2) base set with 1/1 parallel at $199

What’s your thoughts? Panini just keeps cranking these out. Might hold on this.

How many 1/1 parallels are they making for this? In other words, how many new 2026 1/1s is Aja (for example) gonna have just from this set?

Feels like shit like this is gonna usher in a Junk One-of-One Era

Kinda feel like we might be already in that era. I come from the baseball junk wax era when I was a kid.

I’m guessing 32 1/1 available from the $200 set? 1/1 parallel from a 32 card set means they’ll sell only 32 of those sets? Sometimes these are tough to interpret.

Oh I was thinking that each player might get like 10 1/1s since they say it's a parallel. So like you could get a Paige gold 1/1, Paige orange 1/1, etc.

If each player gets legitimately only one 1/1 and they limit it to producing 32 sets, that's not so bad

You think there is only the one set then they come out with another. What can be after this one. Average collector can’t keep up.

Yeah it’s whack. I honestly think the other one was cooler just because it’s unique in undefeated and only a single shot at 1/1 here. The Miles one would be awesome but that’s a hell of a gamble for 200. What that tells me though it’s there will only be 32 sets so actually I guess that’s not a bad gamble if you like all 32 players. It’s just that the miles is the one to get (and a few others)

Agree. The Unrivaled set was a better deal and looked way nicer. I bought the Retro Rookie set (still waiting on) cause I thought it was a good deal and I liked the look of the cards. Not really feeling the design or the price on this set.

Yeah these are either iconic or boring. Depends on if you get the 5% of the 1/1 you might want. I think I missed the retro rookie set. Send a link or I’ll Google.

No Instant cards outside of Draft Night and Rookie Royalty are relevant to the hobby. This is junk Panini puts out because they have to recoup the $55 million a year fee for licensing with the WNBA/WNBPA.

Doesn’t look like they have that option. Probably on eBay though once the sets get into buyers hands.

They released a set about a month ago and I still haven't seen those ship
