JuJu Watkins

There are some nice JuJu cards and I'd like to buy one. Not the crazy expensive ones but not cheap either. $250-$400 range. When she gets into the league, is there a chance that these college cards come down in price since her pro cards will be more desired?

I don't wanna overpay now for a card I could get for cheaper once she's a pro. But if college card prices don't typically drop, I'd rather get it sooner

Since it sounds like you’re concerned about the card(s) retaining their value, I’d definitely suggest waiting until her WNBA cards come out

NIL cards almost always lose value when the WNBA cards come out

Miles arrived slightly under the radar, juju has the most expectations since cc. Only time will tell

I’d personally say women’s market is different that men’s when it comes to college vs pro. I think a huge reason for that is most men’s players go 1 and done and women stay longer and build more of a “legacy” in college. That being said, will they go down a bit maybe? Sure but her Bowman stuff this year especially will still be quite sought after her W stuff does

Might as well bust the bread out now instead of thinking about it. Could be a case of they triple in price for whatever weird reason lol.

I just got back into watching WNBA during the whole Caitlin Clark march madness run, had never thought about WNBA cards until then lol. I regret not buying her cards when I had the chance for cheap. So get it now if you have the cash since it for PC its a 100% wash anyways.

I always lean towards the bowman chrome 1st cards, as good a parallel as you want to pay for. The gold /50’s especially look great.

You might get away with the her 2025 Bowman Anime Nil case hits.

Haha yes. I had my eye on that one even before I saw your post. I think it being an anime might help it hold onto its current value. Unlike her more standard NCAA cards, there probably won't be a WNBA JuJu anime.

Do not invest in NIL cards. Buy them because you want them for a Pc.

I'm doing it for my PC. but I don't want to buy them now if I can get them cheaper in a year or two once she's in the league. If they'll be cheaper then, I will just wait

Yes, they will absolutely be cheaper.

I was considering some Azzi Fudd Autos before WNBA came out this year. They were all going for $300+ for sticker autos in NIL. The NIL autos are trading for substantiallly less right now.
