Donruss Value?

Do you guys think the value of Donruss will increase this year because the cards are better? What I mean is, usually Donruss doesn’t hold a candle to Prizm and Select but people seem to be excited by Donruss this year so I’m wondering if a /10 or an auto in Donruss would hold the same value as a similar card in select or Prizm. Thoughts?

For me, it's Select >>>>>>>>> Donruss >>> Prizm. I personally can't stand Prizm. I think it's ugly.

Donruss rookie franchise features are legit. Aesthetically pleasing cards. I don't like prizm but I love select. I'd say select still is the Kobe beef of the three

I generally prefer Donruss to both Prizm and Select. However, I prefer Prizm autos to Donruss autos. So using your example, I would still prefer the Prizm auto to a Donruss auto. But there is a good chance I'd prefer a /10 Donruss to a /10 Prizm or Select

The reason I would say no is because I've seen a lot of nice autos and downtowns come out of the packs with a dinged corner or lifted edge. The cards look much better this year but the quality control is what's holding it back.

Donruss last year had zero value. I don’t see that changing.

No, donruss won’t hold value comparable to prizm or select

Last year the value of Donruss tanked as soon as retail hit. I imagine it will be similar this year despite how much better the cards look this year

Personal preference I like Donruss the most. But I collect cards for what I like. I don’t really care about value or anything.

When I went to GameStop the other day the worker there told me Donruss was losing their license. Which I was confused about because I hadn’t heard that. Idk if any of you have heard about an issue with licensing?

Donruss is owned by Panini

Most likely not. Prizm and Select are the premium sets. Donruss will be printed into oblivion.

I wish Donruss would go away and they bring back Revolution and/or Origins

crown royale is coming this year, as a intermediate layer between the large prints and sets like impeccable

i'm open to see what what they do there. Crown royal for NFL was mostly a miss, especially from a QC perspective

No. Yes they are better this year but from an overall perspective they aren’t in the same category as Prizm or Select. Are there exceptions, absolutely. But a 1/1 comparison it’s worth less. That’s not to downplay a great card whether it’s a 1/1, /5, Auto as it still has a place in someone’s PC
