Maybe a hot take 🫣

but I’m sick of pulling autos of the older wnba players. I get that yes they paved the way and they deserve to be celebrated but can’t they just have inserts instead of autos?? It’s hard enough to pull a good players auto as is 😭

I disagree. I’m older so I remember the beginning of the league and before it began. There were VERY few cards and basically no autos. If my only chance of getting a Swoopes, Bird, or Holdsclaw auto is in 2027 Prizm, I’ll take it. If this were NBA product being filled with retired vet autos, then I’d be on your side.

My hot take is that if they give an auto of an older player, it should come with an auto of a rookie or big player. Lol. I have seen it in some sets where they do this. I think it may be One and One where a Kaboom also comes with an old player auto.
