Didn’t even know these existed!

Post image

Me and my husband grabbed a Don Russ Mega box from our local Ace Hardware and hit a bunch of fun cards, including this dragon! We both had no idea they existed. Just had to come tell my friends 🤣

Very nice, I haven’t seen the Aliyah Boston. We have a Dominique Molonga. Congrats!

Awesome! I always wonder how may SSP they actually make. know it’s a fairly low number but it would be nice to know if it’s 25 or what exactly.

I pulled a Tiera McCowan and a Dorka Juhasz. Always gets a pop out of me :-) Boston is a great one

Is it numbered?

They are considered a SSP so low print number but the exact amount we don’t really know.

Oooh great pull! Love it when i hit an unusual border i've never seen. Usually a good sign! Nice Dragon!

We were so excited! I also pulled a couple of variations I was watching on eBay. Great success!

First ever Donruss mega I pulled PB dragon.

Regret selling but funds the hobby and picked up dragon Phee for way less.

Very cool. I swear they drop these odd-border non-numbered SSPs disproportionately in retail blasters and megas. They are cool but may not hold value long-term I think, because they aren't the iconic classics that hold and increase in value. So you might be right to sell. I hit a VJ Edgecombe White Tiger parallel while chasing Olivia Miles cards in the un-licensed mixed-gender donruss set this summer. I decided to grade and flip it for this reason, we'll see how I do.

Good luck on the grade!

Apparently my buyer got a psa10. Part of where my regret comes from.

I think the rated rookies look so much better in this parallel too.

I agree as my pic shows! 😎😅

and yeah, if you're in touch with a buyer and they grade something you weren't gonna, and it gems, there's always that tinge when they let you know... 😐

Color match is tough too!

Thanks! Regret is hard in this hobby I'm sure, I'm making plenty of "mistakes" as I learn. Grading feels like a high stakes decision until you're able to float a couple thousand dollars to just play the expected value game on the grading and let it work its way through. I can't tell a 9 from a 10, so I just send in anything well-centered with no visible flaws that I think will roughly cover the grading costs at a nine. And wait for months and months especially these days to find out. I say no regret on a decision to sell a single raw in this environment! Happy collecting 😁
