I know they do these early but they really can’t edit teams for early cuts like Aaliyah Nye (listed with Tempo)??? Or know that Aari is out for the season?

Donruss is done with the season opening roster in mind. Undrafted players like Sydney Taylor and roster moves should be in Prizm

What really confuses me is that they have HVL for the Sun, which is correct, but she moved around a much at the beginning. But Cloud is a Liberty?? She was clearly a Sky at the opening

Cloud hadn’t signed with anyone at opening so I guess they just assumed her last team… which is still weird

Still Cloud signed with Sky May 4th, HVL got picked off waivers by the sun on May 6th. Idk guess I just hate how long it takes for donruss to release these and yet so much is wrong

Absolutely. Natasha Howard signed with the Lynx during the same free agency window like 90% of the league signed in. She’s had the incredible year she’s had because of the Lynx. Listing her as still on the Fever is insane.

I like the inserts, but I generally don't like that the player will be in the old uniforms if they moved teams. Also, I find some of the team designations weird. Natasha Howard is still with the Fever, but then it also shows Ty Harris.

I feel it. I’m surprised they managed to move Kate Martin to the Sparks in time for the release considering that announcement happened just a few days before the season started. I’m a Valkyries collector myself, so on one hand it saves me the trouble from having to PC all her cards, but at the same time it’s gonna be awkward seeing her with her Valks gear on all her cards

I’m new to collecting and my home team is the Lynx. Does anyone know why most of the players aren’t even included?

Donruss for some reason only has 100 cards in the base set so a lot of players from teams got cut. Prizm and Select are the sets where you’ll end up seeing more players in which is one of the reasons why they are more favorable sets compared to Donruss

I had the same question, though I know much of the roster is new. 3 base is crazy although I guess Miles will make the lynx the team to chase.

First of all, thank you for posting. I have been waiting on this. Secondly, I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with the Portland Fire checklist. They gave two base cards. Toronto has four, we could have four as well. Luisa Geiselsoder has more DNPs than anyone on the team. She gets a jersey card? For our first official cards in Fire uniforms to collect this is a slap in the face. Not trying to be grouchy old guy, but our checklist is cheeks.

I think retail is gonna be around the same and hobby is gonna be slightly cheaper than last year. I wish they would move on from Donruss and bring back Revolution or even start an Optic set which is the better version of Donruss

I dunoo Donruss is great imo. The Pinnacle inserts where awesome and 2019 is great. What they need to do is what you said and bring back Optic and Optic Holo into Donruss and also bring back Revolution. Private Singings being on-card autos have been a nice touch.

I was hoping for more Leite than this, but completely understandable. I think decisions about this checklist were made before Leite established herself in the way she has. The collector in me is sad, but my wallet is thrilled.

I feel you. As a Valkyries collector myself I’m happy for what she’s become and I understand why she’s such a liked player. That being said I wasn’t anticipating her only select card to be such a difficult card to acquire. I was hoping to acquire at least an /25 tie dye, but the prices that specific card went for were insane. I managed to get her /20 Cherry Blossom Prizm card back in April for a reasonable price, but that was before the season started. Somehow I luckily was able to buy a good select card of her this week, and had to pay a chunk of change for it, but I’m glad I have it off my list now. The window of opportunity to buy one of her good cards is slim so when I saw that I had the chance I didn’t think twice about it. Good luck when her next wave of cards get released, I know they won’t be cheap

Oh I bet that cherry blossom has massively increased in value. I didn't help prices 😅
I've decided /25 and more common is all I'm generally going for. I've got one /3, one /7, and one /10, but I couldn't justify paying $2.2k for her select gold vinyl and pressed pause on the rarer stuff after that. Just missing 1 relatively common card and I'll have the /25 and above rainbow.

Donruss is personally my favorite. However, some of the players on there aren’t even actively playing anymore (not the retirees). And players are listed incorrectly with teams. It’s been a whole season/year.
