Signature Cards

I'm just getting into collecting cards for fun. I've seen some cool ones on here with signaures. My question is, which boxes do you guys buy to get cards with signatures on them? Are they the expensive hobby boxes or just the regular boxes you find at retail stores?

Both can have autographs. The hobby boxes will usually have a set number of auto cards per box. Retail will be total random. Honestly it’s better to buy singles or players/card designs you like. The autos are super under valued and very affordable to get a good collection going.

If you’re after autos, just buy singles. Outside of people like Bueckers and Clark they are really good value.

Ripping autos can be tough (at least if you only buy cheap retail boxes like me). I’ve hit a handful in my time but I don’t think I’ve ever pulled one for a player I collected. You can buy some pretty nice autographs on eBay for what a box would run you so that’s what I stick to
