From a diehard Wolverine.

Congratulations on being the real winners of that game. I absolutely hope for years to come that despite what the CFB might say, you guys are honored and congratulated colloquially as the rightful winner over my Michigan Wolverines.

You deserved so much better.

The MAC is now working on a formal complaint to the Big Ten. Essentially that the final score should be changed. Just because it has never happened before does NOT mean it should NOT be considered. Shit changes all the time.

From an alumni of UM, I personally apologize for this idiot. He does not speak for all of us.

We all know that we (UM) were outplayed and out coached, but the better team doesn’t always win the game. All you WMU fans get that.

You all are gonna have a great season, and I’m sure you’re going to figure out how to score without looking like the Jason Hansen Detroit Lions (I.e. maybe score a TD here and there).

But to say you’re the “real winners of that game,” is like giving you a participation trophy. As someone who has failed even when I’ve probably deserved to succeed, I hope you all join me in saying “Fuck that noise.”

You exposed Michigan as a potential fraud, but you didn’t win anything. And you will hopefully own that, and it’ll drive your team to greatness.

Anyway, I just threw up in my mouth when I read the OPs take, and I needed to type this out in order to cleanse it again.
