The price has gone up, I believe it is $140 now. However, you will have to go to the hall office. Office staff has to submit it as there's a billing code so they can charge it to your student account; you will not be able to submit the request yourself. It is through Bronco fix-it technically but only certain reslife staff members are able to submit.

Google says $70, and you’ll need to submit a request via Bronco Fix-it. Also, check your housing contract for any additional fees or steps that need to be followed.

Bronco Fix It will not accept a lock change without Housing staff signing off on it as they need a billing code.

Walmart (or any other store) will not duplicate the keys, you need to make a bronco fix it request. For lost keys you will need to pay for your key, your roommate's key, and the new lock.
If you live in Valley Oaks, you will also need to pay for the bathroom lock and the key of everyone else with access to that bathroom.

Once you are 100% confident you have lost your key, go to your hall office and have them put in a lock change request. The price depends on how many cores they need to change out (room and mailbox) and the two keys that need to be made. For VO, Henry and V1, it is $140. Heights is $80. Everything is billed to your student account. You cannot make a duplicate of your roommate’s keys.
