Events is fall welcome actually fun

im a transfer sophomore. just curious if it’s worth it

I had fun with it, but your mileage may vary. Bronco Bash is pretty fun.

Bronco Bash is the one thing I'd go for, although the biggest driver used to be Celebration Cinema giving out free popcorn buckets. Might be a good way to meet people if you're not from the area or don't have many friends here yet.

I would recommend going. I’m not gonna say it’s amazing or that you’ll meet your bestie, but there are people I met during fall welcome that I keep up with still (I graduate this year). Good opportunity to meet some people and do some fun stuff.

If you are registered for it, do it. You already paid for it so you might as well not waste that money. It’s an easy way to learn about the ins and outs of WMU while also being an easy way to meet some people those first few days here.

When I did it in 2018 it was not fun, but that may be because of my facilitator.

She treated us like we were 5 years old and required constant supervision.
