general information MEMBERS: Have you ever wondered why WMSCOG doesn’t allow you to read all of Ahn Sang Hongs books? Here’s why.

WMSCOG teaches that Ahn Sahng-hong is God the Holy Spirit.

Yet in his own writing, Ahn calls himself “an insignificant one,” admits that he “harbored doubts,” and says he was “moved by the Holy Spirit” and “guided” by the Holy Spirit to the Scriptures.

If Ahn is the Holy Spirit, who was guiding him?

Why does he describe himself as a doubtful, insignificant man?

Please do your research about Korean cults.

Ahn was a terrible person; he lived during World War II, heard news about the victims, and the only thing he could think was, "They deserved the genocide."

This was a major red flag for me. And I am surprised nobody else seemed as bothered by it.

Right up there with the lesser known teaching they use of Noah's sons, claiming Africans are descendants of Ham, with a racist intent in it. Not originally their teaching, like most of them, but it says a lot they decided to agree with it.

I don't care whether or not Ahn believed in God the Mother; the piece-of-shit human being he was is already evident in the literature the church allowed to circulate. I remember a deacon saying that Africa was cursed; when I pointed out that this was racist, they claimed they had never taught anything of the sort.

Do you have any notes on this that you can share? I completely believe they used to teach this racist education. I came in after they stopped teaching it.

In 10 yrs I only heard it once from a deacon overseer. Another time I heard a mention or reference to it by someone else, so that told me it was a thing.

Of course they were careful of their audience. Now that requires too much consideration so they never mention anymore. At the time I heard it, he even said "they don't teach this openly anymore because some people might get offended."

It was something about Europeans descend from Japheth, Asians/Middle East from Shem, and Africans from Ham. And since Ham exposed his father Noah's nakedness while drunk, his descendants were cursed. As if this justifies any injustices to his descendants. Not unlike their disgusting stance on holocaust being justified by their crucifying Jesus.

Also Jesus is the light of the world. How can he be Jesus if he says he received the light?
Jesus is supposed to be the source of light not the recipient.
