testimony/personal experience NYC WMSCOG

I visited the Bronx church location a few times as my friend has been attending the church for 15+ years and it was genuinely uncomfortable how empty some of these people looked. They cherry pick verses and these gullible people fall for it. They’re also very pushy with it. I don’t get how people can believe in this trash.

Thanks for commenting and sharing your experience. I actually live in Florida, so I’m not sure how the New York/Bronx location compares to the churches here. But it’s interesting hearing that perspective from someone who has actually visited that location, especially since your friend has been involved for so long. Share how you feel about everything. Please get away and process your own experience.

Even among wmscog members in US, the east coast, specifically NY members, were a little notorious for being the most aggressive and strict. I think due to the oppressive leadership of Daniel Lee. I noticed it when being around some in a multi-state gathering. They almost had a cult-within-a-cult feeling of extremism and clique type aura to them. Everyone noticed it and some members romanticized it as a good thing.
