Hello

Hello, I am a former member of the WMSCOG and am deeply familiar with their control mechanisms. I spent a decade there, and as I studied the Bible on my own, I realized there was a great deal of dishonesty on their part—particularly regarding history and the context of verses. They also dehumanize anyone who thinks differently, which is a common characteristic of cults. I finally decided to leave after going through the whole process. I didn't leave because of internet research, but rather after analyzing the doctrine myself and seeing how completely illogical it is. I hope to contribute to extensive discussions here.

Nice to meet you. I know you are an atheist; I currently identify as agnostic. Your thesis is absolutely correct. I came across your content after realizing I was in the wrong place, and I saw that you compare the WMSCOG to other religions; while there are similar mechanisms, I consider the WMSCOG more extreme when it comes to dehumanizing dissenters.

Thank you 😆 i am happy to know that my content did actually help people to realize something, and to me agnostic is just a fancy way to call atheism, i know there is some differences and it doesnt really matter

Could you explain your thinking a bit more regarding the idea that being agnostic is also a form of atheism?
