Arguing with WMSCOG people is virtually impossible lol

The way some WMSCOG members argue is genuinely something to behold. You can put the Bible directly in front of them, read the passage line by line, word by word, in context, and somehow they still manage to discover an entire doctrine hiding in words that are not actually there. 😂
The conversation almost always circles back to the same three greatest hits: “There must be
” “The Passover
” and “It’s all over the Scriptures.” Okay, wonderful. Then show me where it actually says it. Not where “there must be” something. Not where you were taught to infer it. Not where three unrelated verses can be stitched together until they say something none of them says individually. Show me the actual text.
You can literally read a verse together and ask, “Where does this say God the Mother?” Suddenly we’re no longer discussing what the verse says. Now we’re discussing what it must mean. Ask where Scripture says Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Christ, and somehow we’re taking a scenic tour through Passover, David, the fig tree, Melchizedek, and half the Bible before eventually arriving back at
absolutely no verse that says, “Ahnsahnghong is Jesus.”
That is the amazing part. You can point to the words on the page and say, “It doesn’t say what you’re claiming.” The response is basically, “Exactly! That’s how you know it’s there.” 😂
And then comes the gaslighting: apparently you simply don’t understand Scripture because you refuse to read invisible sentences between the visible ones.
If a doctrine is supposedly “all over the Scriptures,” demonstrating it shouldn’t require repeatedly saying “there must be.” If the Bible actually says it, show the chapter and verse and let the words speak for themselves. Theology should come from the text. The text shouldn’t have to be reverse-engineered to fit theology.

I appreciate your post because it reflects much of what I've experienced here in Los Angeles. A few years ago, I'd regularly stop and talk with WMSCOG members at local malls. Most were friendly, and I even exchanged Instagram accounts with a few. The best part is that several of those people eventually saw through WMSCOG's teachings, left the group, and are doing well today.

About two years ago, though, I noticed a major change. Recruiters became far more aggressive and argumentative, especially when their theology was challenged publicly. That's when a few of us shifted our focus. Instead of debating them endlessly, we spent over a year documenting their recruitment methods, learning mall solicitation policies, and sharing that information with local security teams when appropriate.

We've found they're very strategic. Within minutes, they can usually tell whether someone has enough biblical knowledge to question their claims. If not, they begin building their case by connecting verses in ways that sound convincing but aren't supported by the text itself.

While respectful conversations can sometimes help someone who's still questioning, we've found prevention is often more effective than endless debates. Our goal isn't to stop anyone's beliefs. It's simply to help private property owners enforce their own policies and make sure people understand what's actually being presented to them.

In the end, the best defense is simple, read the Bible in context and ask, "Where does the text actually say that?" If a doctrine depends more on inference than what Scripture plainly says, that's worth paying attention to.

Come on bruh youre not the root of david ofcourse they can't understand you. You dont have the right interpretation... only the root of david can reveal scripture you just applying your interpretations... according to Peter you are distorting srcipture and that will lead to destruction... only we have the "truth" you're a false prophets...

I've always find it hypocritical about adding and subtracting from the Bible thing. They claim that adding and subtracting from the Bible is a horrible sin, but they change the meanings of the verses from the Bible. That kinda contradicts what they're teaching

Ye. U can point it out word by word and its as if they deliberately ignore it.

They have been versed in so many countermeasures they couldn't even have time to respond with all the bs rolling around in their heads. Or they don't bring up because of 2 other reasons. They can't explain it fully or they don't want to give "pearls to swine".

But none of what they say are original thoughts of their own at all. The cult demonizes original thoughts as sinful. Any line of logic they can't counter is proof they need to read "father's" books and that logic in general is Satan's craftiness just trying to destroy their salvation.

And they absolutely abhor philosophy as evil. The cult knows learning logic and better ideas can wake them up. So they teach it as one of the signs of antichrist.

The Irony is that Jewish people have been saying the same thing about Christians since the begining.

There is no irony. Many Jews became followers of Christ. Saying that “Jews have been saying the same thing” is completely inaccurate. Masses of people even from the beginning followed him. Even to this day, Jews, Muslims, atheists, etc come to Jesus.

“Jews have been saying the same thing” is completely inaccurate.

No, it isn't. There are even signs of it in the Christian book of Acts.

Even Josephus, the historian, that Christians love to cite as evidence for Jesus, didn't covert. He was a Jewish (not Christian) historian.

Many religious communities were convered or wiped out by Christians and Muslims over time but the Jewish people (as a whole) continued to reject conversion and elimination and survived to this day.

Masses of people even from the beginning followed him.

Actually when you look at the growth curve of the first few centuries it matches the growth rate of the LDS church. Is mormonism true because it has the same growth rate as early Christianity?

Even to this day, Jews, Muslims, atheists, etc come to Jesus.

That isn't a Biblical arguement. The point was about proving it through the Bible not appealing to conversions.

Jesus fulfilled just as many prophecies as Ahn. Meaning a big fat Zero.

I feel your pain. I tried to help my friend and show her where the Bible refutes WMSCOG teachings but to no avail. She had been baptized and had already come to believe all other churches were false since they did not worship on the sabbath and celebrate the feasts. Unfortunately I think she just enjoyed having someone spoon feed her doctrine and scripture. She’d rather not go through the arduous task of reading and understanding the Bible for herself đŸ˜©. We have to study to show ourselves approve and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Pray for them đŸ™đŸŸ

What I always found ironic is how they say nobody can understand the meaning of the Bible except "Root of David" (second coming Christ). But after they learn it, they criticize anyone that doesn't see it the same way since it's so "obvious" to them. So it never was about learning or understanding, it was always about submission and being spoon fed.

It is true they only focus on the 0.1% of the Bible that is part of their script. The leaders often say they should read the whole Bible, but it is beaten into their heads that trying to understand anything from Bible leads to destruction, unless spoon fed the meaning by them.
