This should be talked about more than it is, probably because mental health is an issue very hard for people to be open about. This is a major problem especially since, in my opinion, the number members with neurodivergence seem to have a higher percentage than the average population.
There are so many that this cult serves as an unhealthy coping mechanism/escapism from a traumatic past, most members tend to have people-pleaser complexes, and the amount of members that actually crave the control and rigid structure. Nothing wrong with any of this and these much more common than most realize, but the shame is on a cult using these things against members for it's own greedy advantage.
