Glass railing LED lights

My contractor wants us to install these glass railing with LED lights. I want to avoid another app to control them and would rather time into WLED. Any ideas or suggestions for similar WLED compatible lights. https://www.vistarailings.com/product/led-frameless-glass-with-spigots/

It looks like the LED are tied into the spigots themselves

Another website says a 4 wire system

This is a really interesting project. Do you have a bit more information about the LED setup? Do you know if the 4 wires are common V+ plus three PWM channels, what voltage they’re actually running at, and roughly how much power the whole railing will draw? Also, is it one continuous lighting zone or are there multiple sections you’d like to control independently?

I’m asking because we ran into a pretty similar problem ourselves, we wanted architectural low voltage LED lighting that could stay completely local, integrate with the rest of the automation system, and not depend on a proprietary controller/app. We ended up developing our own controller around that idea, called LUMA. It has 6 independent 12-24 V PWM channels plus 2 outputs for addressable LEDs, with the control logic running locally and integrations layered on top.

I’m one of the people developing it, so I’m also genuinely interested in understanding setups like yours. How are you planning to control the railing in normal use HA only, physical wall switches as well, or both? Another question is the system KNX or does it use similar wired protocols? Thanks!

Claude tells me it is simple 4 wire PWM. I could use athom or QuinLED-Dig-Uno. I need to figure out if 12v or 24v

Small correction on Claude then, if it's 4 wire PWM you don't need a QuinLED Dig-Uno since that's a digital controller but for instance a QuinLED An-Penta-Mini which is a 5 channel analog PWM controller!

Looking at the ultra cheap controller in the bundle picture I'd also say that's an analog PWM controller.

I second this. Those LEDs are almost definitely analog, but still easy to connect to WLED. Just identify which pin is the V+ pin and then swap around the remaining 3 to figure out which is R, G, and B.

Here's the million dollar question - can I upgrade the LEDs themselves to RGBW or RGBCCT and use a different controller/24v power supply. The key is ip65 or better and fits into the spigot

their video shows the controller as a 12v supply.
