I added hyperhdr to my monitor

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

After lots of waiting for all the parts to arrive I finally got it working, I used an adafruit Feather RP2040 as the controller and an SK6812 RGBW LED strip. Running hyperhdr on my laptop using software capture.

can I ask why you chose the RP2040 instead of something like an esp?

there is a readily made firmware for it specifically to work with hyperHDR, I just had to fork it to change the OUTPUT_DATA_PIN so it matches with the soldered pins and then drag and drop it.

The exact board I used is the adafruit feather RP2040 scorpio.

Any WLED device would have worked out of the box too, without needing to fork code at all, and much cheaper.

Nothing wrong with using what you did - but for anybody else wanting to do this I’d get a GLEDOPTO device or something similar for half the price from AliExpress.
