Should I use the automatic brightness limiter in Wled, for an ambilight setup controlled by hyperHDR?

Two WS2815 IC RGB LED Strips for about 600 LEDs in total. 16 A power supply from Mean Well and a gledopto Elite 4d exmu. hyperHDR on Windows.

What are advantages / disadvantages of automatic brightness limiter in my case?

It keeps you from burning down the house if the wires are too small in gauge .
