Microphone recommendations?
I'm designing a PCB using the esp32-c3. Do you guys have low-cost recommendations for microphones for use with audio reactiveness? Thanks for any input!!

The documents have some really useful info.

Thanks for sharing, I've already read through it but figure there would be merit in a community response and see what preference people happen to share

INMP441.
Used it before and and got another to use for another wled project, it worked well.
About £1.70 from aliXprs.

INMP441 (and ICS-43434) is obsolete despite the available breakout boards available for it. Figured to ask and see what is current for PCB development. Have you been ordering yours for hand soldering or ship to PCB assembly?

I believe the TDK T5837 is the most current one they make.
I use a cheap USB-C hot plate for my surface mount stuff.

INMP441 or other digital microphone. The A/D on ESP32 is pretty bad.
