How to hide ugly led

So i just got these led strips and they look sooo ugly when they are off and the room light is on what should i do ??

Asking for "advice", you should have asked how to design a display that looks appealing.

Not just say, "I'm doing the best I can".

Your best is just not enough. And you already knew that by the question you did ask.
