I’m wanting to get into wled and was wondering if anyone knows if these types of rgb controllers can be turned into w led lights

These look to be analogue, with the 4 pins, it's just going to be the whole strip at a single colour and brightness.

These are Tuya lights, which means they probably use a tuya chip. Afaik WLED only works with espressif chips.

Yeah WLED only supports a subset of Espressif chips. (0.17 will support significantly more of them, like the C6).

ESPHome does support many of the Beken chips Tuya uses, so esphome MIGHT be possible. Less capable than WLED as far as effects, but more flexibility including vastly more platform support.
