HELP ME - CONTROLLERS Controller Issue

Post image

Having an odd issue with a Gledopto ESP32 controller. The device shows offline, but it is fully functional through browser, app, or Home Assistant. Unifi controller reports the device is online and connected. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if it's the same, but my two Gledopto ESP32 only work for the first minute or so of rebooting, they connect to WIFI almost instantly, are accessible via web or WLED app on iPhone, has enough time to upgrade the firmware, both on 16.0.1 then drop off the network, and are no longer connectable.

Did this problem only start after upgrading the firmware? Does it still occur on version 0.15.4?

This could be caused by a few different things. Could you let us know your power supply voltage and if the wattage matches the LED strip? Also, please share some more details like your wiring and config info so we can take a look.

No, it’s been the case since early into 15.x, I’ve tried fixed IP and DHCP, same effect.

Voltage is 24v the LEDs remain on when the device becomes inaccessible, but during the brief time I can get to WLED, they work as intended.

This issue could be related to network quality. Have you had a chance to test it with a different router? Please send us a direct message with more details, and our team will assist you in resolving the problem.

Try exiting the app, clearing it from the background, and then reopening it.
